Powerful beings throughout time have been awakened from their graves by a mysterious life force called Ore. Now they have been brought together to decide once and for all who shall rule the world! Take control of one of ten characters and prepare to battle the remaining fighters in your quest for power. Choose from the following ten combatants: Ahau Khan, an ancient high priest. Anubis, the Egyptian god of mummification. Cy-5, a cyborg from the year 2096. Kabuki Jo, a medieval samurai warrior wearing red and white facial paint. Maximus, a gladiator who hides behind an iron mask. Pagan, a sorceress skilled in the black arts. Tak, an idol from a civilization long forgotten. Voodoo, a tribal witch doctor. Vallah, a sultry Viking goddess. Warhead, a top soldier trained in nuclear weapons. WarGods is a translation of Midway's 1996 coin-op game, offering one block button, two punch and two kick buttons, as well as a special 3D button. The 3D button can be used to jump, walk or slide anywhere within the arena. Each character also has a damage meter that will gradually diminish as he or she receives blows; when the green bar turns to red, the character is in danger of suffering defeat. Before advancing to the next opponent, players must first win two fights against the current WarGod. After defeating the main fighters, players will then have to face two boss characters: Grox and Exor. Options include five difficulty levels, adjustable continues (up to a maximum of five), fatalities and customizable control settings. String together combos and use special attacks do wear down all who dare stand in your way!

It had minor wear. Probably not mint, but shelf wear (and not even asking if they expect a pristine all the way around no scuffs/flaws) is not something I normally note or mark down for, and if a buyer asks, I'll 100% always let them know. I am sorry they weren't fully happy with the purchase.

I have played video games from Atari to 3ds. I love older games usually because they are not too overdone or complicated. I always loved mario kart and mortal kombat trilogy for n64. I cannot remember if i played this back then. I have it now and really do enjoy playing it. I am giving it a 4 star because when you choose easy as difficulty then you should not lose so often. I don't know the moves yet but when a computer is programmed to block every move you make to where you need to trick it into getting hit on difficulty easy is not good especially since it is designed especially for kids. Adults will choose hard if they want to do hard challenges but a kid should have fun with more control in the fight. It has not too many characters. I wish it had at least 15. Two girls. The characters are fun and do really cool moves and fatalities. Idk what else they do. The stage is 3d. Not 2d like the best mortal kombat games like ps1 mortal kombat trilogy. If you never played that you better. To unlock one button finishers you need to go into the last section on the main menue where the ? Boxes are and on that screen of those choices with the settings and question boxes you hold all the buttons at the top of the controller L1 L2 R1 R2 and hold up all at the same time. The screen will shake. You now can turn on all one button finishers that the characters do at the end when they win the fight. You ca also put instant aggressor on! Try that game. This game here is a fun alernative but will never be as amazing as mortal kombat games but imo it is very fun and you can kill some time to playing this once in a while :)

Ok so the thing about War Gods is it’s not an amazing game, but it can still be fun. It’s like an old 80’s horror movie. Does it hold up? Not really? Is it cheesy? You know it! But do you have a good time with friends, laughing at it’s silliness? Absolutely. It’s very affordable, and was clearly the testing grounds for what would eventually become Mortal Kombat 4. If you’re collecting fighters, or just don’t take games too seriously, this game won’t destroy your wallet, and you will laugh at the hilarious dialogue and characters.Ok so the thing about War Gods is it’s not an amazing game, but it can still be fun. First off I wanted to buy war gods because I grew up with it and had fun memories with it and I'm thinking about becoming a video game game collector and I needed a game for my nintendo 64 its got decent graphics they were good for 2001 though that was around the time i got into it its got cool characters attacks and costumes and cheats though you need a good working controller to activate them and you gotta beat the game first it's not a popular game among gamers because it's hard but oh well I have more patience with it and Here's a spoiler alert I beat the last boss with tak I thought I'd throw that into my review just for fun I'd suggest adding this game to your n64 collection it's one of the few good titles out there I was so excited opening it i accidently cut a small part of the ...
