    An altogether engossing stunner....

    Gere: masterful, as usual. Brash and disrespectful. Norton:__________ (no words/dumbstruck) This performance is difficult to fathom.... I would have to believe that no one...no other actor could approximate the flawless, seamless enactment presented in portraying his character(s). (I don't think any other actor would even wish to attempt it!) I kept thinking that his fellow thespians must have been awefully shaken while trying to portray their characters while being distracted by Norton's performance! A most rivetting plot decorated with interesting characters. (don't leave early...Roy's coming back!) drl

    Great Courtroom Drama, Suspenseful and Shocking

    We were truly shocked in this suspensful movie, Primal Fear. Martin Vail is a Chicago Defense Attorney who took over a very high profile case on the murder of an Archbishop. Martin is representing the alter boy in this case who makes you believe he has some challenges. We were shocked at what was taking place with these alter boys but now when you read the media it makes you wonder. Richard Gere plays Martin Vail and Ed Norton plays the alter boy. Ed Norton's performance in this movie is absolutely terrific.

    Primal Fear with Richard Gere

    Topical story line regarding Catholic church priest's affinity for sex and the problem that it causes. Richard Gere, Laura Linney and Edward Norten star in this violent study of human munipulation. Who's using Who, is the question throughout the movie. I enjoy watching Laura Linney act, she's HOT! The price was right.

    Excellent Movie

    I love Richard Gere and Edward Norton. I've been following Edward Nortons career since I first saw him in this film. Excellent actor. If you want to see a very suspenseful movie that will surprise you in the end.....watch this movie, you will NOT be disappointed!!!

    paramount acting

    no wonder, this role as stampler started the career of edward norton. nobody else could surpass this kind of physiognomy and language, this kind of faked dual personality. a real great masterpiece of acting.
