Well where to begin, this phone was bougth for my partner as a gift to a friend of hers. It took them back to their childhood and for that reason i wanted to be a part of that as well, after all i am marrying the girl. Anyway the Nokia 5110, an amazing little phone, not all singing and all dancing like today, but dose the job, with a feature todays phone are really missing, ok yes you can buy fancy cases for phones but what ever happened to interchangable faces? who knows..... but it was a great feature. But back to the phone, once there was some juice back in the bad boy the old schhol nature of the phone really shone through, colour screen? whats that, none of this media playing, just back to your basic ringtones, the ability to send texts, and make phone calls, short battery life is most defantly not a thing of the past here. In fact the battery life on this phone shows modern day manufacters how its done, maybe they should take note, 24 hours standby was not a problem then, 5-7 days standby, now thats what i'm talking about. All in all this little (or not so little as the case may actually be) phone is a foce to be reconed with, it holds the key fundermentals of mobile technology without trying to be your laptop in disguise. Top marks have to go out to Nokia for the 5110 they knew what they where doing back then and its a shame things aren't still as straight forward these days, let alone work as well.Vollständige Rezension lesen
Great retro phone, can still get new parts for them too. Just remeber these phones do not work with the likes of "3" as their network requires 3G or more. I guess these phones must be no more than 2G, most networks still accept them though. That's all folks!
