An excellent set of pedals that are made of high quality materials. I have been using shimano components for years and have had no complaints. These are also highly recommended by reviews on other websites.

With Shimano you know you're getting top quality and these pedals don't disappoint. The M540 pedals are supremely compatible with SPD cleats and cleanly engage. Weight-wise they're pretty good considering the engineering within and a long life can be expected. Mine are fitted to a road bike and as such I'm very happy with them - a recommended buy!

These replaced a pair of cheap as chips M520 pedals which lasted with no maintenance for 5 years. Like most Shimano gear you just fit to bike and abuse them, great pedals at good price.

I bought these pedals for my road bike and I am really pleased with them . They are easy to clip in and out of but feel that they firmly hold you to the pedal when clipped in. I would definitely recommend these pedals
