Synopsis
Anything but boring, the cult director and creator of "Jay and Silent Bob" shares his every thought in his popular online diary, telling all in his usual candid, heartfelt, and irreverent way., Anything but boring, the creator of Jay and Silent Bob shares his x-rated thoughts in his diary, telling all in his usual candid, heartfelt and irreverent way! Lewd, crude and hilariously rude, Kevin Smith pulls no punches in this hard-hitting, in-your-face expose of, er, his rather dull and uneventful life... well, not always dull. In between watching his TiVo, he manages to make and release "Clerks II," relate the story of his partner-in-crime Jason Mewes' heroin addiction, get a tattoo, serve on a jury... and get caught stealing donuts from Burt Reynolds Thrown in are his views on the perils of strip clubs, the drawback of threesomes, the pain of anal fissures, his love-affair with "Star Wars" and so much more! "Adults Only!", Lewd, crude and hilariously rude, Kevin Smith - the creator of 'Clerks', 'Dogma' and 'Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back' - recalls the notable moments from his not-at-all dull life.

  • Boring Ass Life it's Not

Just finished the book last night and must say it was pretty cool to hear all these stories and all "behind the scenes" of his life. The book kind of starts off a little slow and hard to read with all the names you don't know, but it gets easier as you learn the players in his life. The book begins before he gets his role as Sam in Catch and Release and chronicles his triumphant return to Vancouver where he went to a film school. It's cool to hear how he moved to Canada for 3 months and how he experienced someone else's movie as an actor. I had already scene the movie and then hearing all the behind the scene stuff made me go back and watch it again with and w/o the commentary. Interesting stuff. He proceeds to makes Clerks II in which he didn't diary too often. He concludes the book ...
