      Splitting wedge

      The pic showed a red painted wedge, however I received a black painted wedge, it is a problem as I loose these and hoped the red colour would help. The edge at the very point is too blunt to go in to the tough sort of wood that has to be split by wedge rather than by splitting axe, I will need to spend some time to grind an edge to these wedges.

      Carbon steel wood splitting wedge

      Bought it for my husband to use on the large logs left by felling huge willow tree in our garden. Wood still not dry enough but on the peace’s he tried the splitting wedge he was very happy with it.

      Great value for money

      It's too early to judge its durability but it's taking whacks from a 14 lb hammer well. It arrived quickly, exceeding expectations.
