Australian Shepherds need LOTS of exercise. Chasing a ball is a great way to provide some. Our puppy Sydney loved to chase this from the moment I first threw it. It's the right size for her to get her mouth on ..... and despite sharp puppy teeth, hasn't managed to puncture it. It has great bounce, which keeps her hopping. A great find!

I can clearly remember this type ball from the 1950's and 1960's (played alot of stickball in New York). It doesn't come close. I believe that since it is made in China, that they have no idea how it should be constructed or how it responds. Maybe I'm just getting old but I do not like the product as it currently exists (not really bouncy and not real firm as they used to be)

I purchased this product because I had several of them growing up as a kid. The new made in china ones seem to be of a cheaper grade of rubber and don't appear to be as durable as the original. Time will tell if they hold up to extended use.

I use this to spot massage tight spots in my body, by placing the ball on the floor and then pushing against it. Great at getting rid of muscle knots. Also good for massaging the soles of your feet if you leave it on the floor and roll the ball back and forth with your foot.
