This is a reliable and good quality lapel microphone suitable for sound reinforcement and recording purposes plugging into Sennheiser radio mics and many recorders as long as they offer phantom volts and have a 3.5mm socket. The ME2 does not give the top audio quality in their range of products but neither is it the most expensive so you pay for what you get. For most ears it would be quite adequate.

Received one of these today. Tried it out, and as far as I can tell the quality is excellent.

A nice electret lavalier microphone in a metal case with integrated but removable windshield. The ME2 is not the latest model Sennheiser lavalier, but an excellent microphone nonetheless, and a good secondhand buy, if in good condition including cable. Being electret it needs powering (usually from a radiomicrophone body/belt transmitter). Although far from large, it is not the smallest omnidirectional lavalier microphone obtainable, but is robustly made, reliable, and with a smooth frequency response. Altogether a nice microphone.

The loop to hold the microphone did not properly fit our Sennheiser mic so it had to be bent to form a shape the mic didn't slip out of. The problem is that the mic is tapered. Perhaps glue would be the answer?

I used this for a Rode Smartlav microphone so had to make a rubber sleeve for the microphone as the diameter of this is bigger. It works perfectly for the job and seems like a sturdy clip, factor into this the cheap price and it's great value for your money.
