The Xbox version is in contention for one of the most enjoyable games I have ever played second only to the PS2 version for its better features and less annoying sounds. The gameplay has no real story but it is just straight up fun and challenging here and there. If you want a game that just puts a smile on your face every time as you take your aggression out on random cars on the road then this is the one for you. One does not simply go wrong with choosing Burnout and it really is a shame that there isn't a sequel to Revenge. (Paradise isn't a sequel!)

Hasn't been topped in terms of basic functionality, features, and fun. Subsequent titles from EA have prioritized online features and microtransactions. Presentation is stable at 60 frames per second. The music is customizable, though the licensed music on offer is poor. The sound effect and surround sound more than make up for the poor soundtrack.

There are things I love and things I hate about Burnout Revenge. I'm not heavily into multiplayer, so I won't bother going there. I bought this game because I had the original XBox version of it, and MS and their loving attitude towards bacwards compatibility neglected to make this work on the 360. I probably would have bought this anyway, as BR is an incredibly fun game... once you figure out how to navigate the horrific single player system. Burnout Revenge takes a HUGE step backwards for the single player aspect of the game. MASSIVE. Words cannot express how deeply and truly awful the world tour navigation system is. Worse still, the single event mode, the greatest aspect of the single player experience in Burnout 3, is GONE. Its because of this and this reason alone that I can't really recommend this over Burnout 3. I have to say it looks MUCH better on the 360. Still everything that was broken about the original is still broken here.Vollständige Rezension lesen
I have to admit that I'm excited to have Burnout as part of my 360 library. However, it's a little disappointing because of the fact it isn't a real next-gen game. The developers did a great job of porting the game to the 360, but still... if it weren't for the lack of real next-gen games, I wouldn't have bought it. As it is, I am having a ton of fun playing it right now, and that's what counts I guess. This is by far the best version of Burnout ever assembled, and I'd gladly take it over Full Auto any day. The online mode is the best one I've ever played as it keeps track of your "rivals." It's a great idea and it will bring actual community to online play. The set up pits you against the same people more often... and that's a great way to build a better friends list.
Love the fact that the point is to crash your car....Seems i am better at that than trying to race and not crash LOL Game is perfect for me, graphics are really good for how old the game is, Gets a 5 star + rating from me
