This item was sent directly to my father. I recently visited him. He is very pleased with the DVD. As described and good value for money. But he kept the packaging to show me. It was a very flimsy plastic bag and the contents was actually printed on the outside, telling everyone what was in it. I know it was free delivery but I think the packaging could have been a bit more substantial and the contents should not be displayed on the outside.

Described as good which is accurate. The price was excellent and free postage. It was a shame that the packing was just a plastic bag as the case was broken and the bit that hold the cd had shattered. Fortunately cd not harmed.

Simple but intriguing!
I found this by accident and decided to order it. I was pleasantly surprised to find an interesting story, well cast and beautiful locations. The actors are believable, and I find the clothing, beautiful home interiors as well as the yachts captivating. The plot is complicated enough to make it addictive but without the awful violence and bad language that we are faced with today. In fact one can relate to some of the problems facing the cast eg alcoholism, relationship problems, financial wheeling and dealing and most of all sexism. It highlights the need for women's lib in a male dominated society. It shows how far women have come today although there is still room for improvement.I found this by accident and decided to order it. Good old classic tv
I ordered this years ago but never had the time to sit down and enjoy it I have finally found time to watch it and it took me back in time I have reordered it for my sister in law to enjoy to sadly some of the cast are no longer with us my you all rest in peace and thankyou for giving us good TV in the 80s

England’s answer to dysentery sorry dynasty,in a decade that fashion forgot our heroine is naturally decked out in shoulder pads and new romantic glamour.She goes from working 2 mornings a week in a chandlers office to rivalling Yve saint Lauren in the first series.Her estranged husband,made redundant from his job designing aeroplanes,goes into business with an alcoholic boat builder,he designs a boat which his daughter sails single handed across the Atlantic,throw in a moody son,a slutty friend, a slimy boss a high powered business man or 2.Oh look just buy it it’s brilliant with all the excesses of the eighties and best of all the mother in law who likes a drink,as does the whole cast,who gets into debt gambling on the horses and appears to run the boutique single handed in between being ... Memories
My wife and i enjoyed it when on tv and am looking forward to reliving back then, it might be a little dated now but its sure to bring back happy memories of being in Hamble one day when they were filming and spoke with some of the actors. Haven't viewed yet but very soon.
