Misfire? William Gaines "what me worry?"
Just Marky Ramone & Jerry Only+ drummer. Its ok kind of like the worst The Damned album from the 90s or TSOL "Strangelove". Dodge City but comic books & teenagers=okay!

Misfits - Project 1950
I had read a lot of reviews about this album before I bought it and most of them were pretty negative, many people said this was not what the Misfits are all about, and that the band line-up for this album was not really the Misfits anyway. But so what? if you dont like that Danzig hasnt been in the band for a long long time now and you dont like the new 'fits, or this new-new 'fits line up (Jerry Only, Marky Ramone and Dez Cadena) then just dont listen to it, but at least give it a chance. I personally enjoyed this album and can't stop listening to it. I really enjoyed Jerry Only's vocals and thought they sounded more like the old skool original Misfits (vocaly anyway) than when Graves was singer (and I liked when Graves was singer.) The album is pretty short, but arent all good punk ... Perhaps the only downside I can see (or hear) in this album is the over use of John Cafiero's backing vocals, which suck I must say. Overall I'd say this is a great album, with great packaging and a cool bonus DVD included of live performances where the band get pelted with snowballs. 4/5 stars

Slightly disapointing
I bought this after hearing the excellent 'Magic Moment' and 'Monster Mash' on the bands Myspace. Both are excellent songs, particullarly Monster Mash which is musically great, with it's backing vocals and all, and it brings a cheeky grin to my face when I hear it. THe track 'Runaway' is also quite good, nice to hear a fresh take on a horrible squeaky song. However, the rest of the album is not up to the standard of these 3 songs. I also thought 'Great Balls of Fire' would have had some more Misfits energy put into it, was very disapointing. At 10 short track punk tracks it's over very quickly. The albums not bad, but it could've been better.
