Light Mountain Natural hair color and conditioner BRIGHT RED
This is a great product that covers really well. It last very long as well. It's a fun color that exits the realm of natural color and moves more into INTENT with POW. ALSO, there is quite a bit in the package. I have long thin hair, and I get several uses out of it, partly because the color lasts long and you can get away with just doing your roots periodically. Here is the catch. You have to have clean unconditioned towel dried hair. You mix the product with warm water only (just as much as you may need) and apply it to your pre-sectioned hair. This product is in powder form. The product will thicken as it sits, so you may need to add a small amount of water periodically. After you apply it all over your hair, you use a plastic bag to cover it and periodically wrap a hot/damp towel over ... This is a great product that covers really well. It last very long as well. The stinky part is that for maximum results you keep it on for 4 hours...so ya gotta plan for the treatment and have time to establish this rich color. I think it is a really great product. I get better results from this henna than the more commercially known products of similar color, plus less damage to your hair because you are not stripping and thinning it, but adding color. This also allows for me to color my gray which is mostly on the top of my head and keep my darker (med brown-ish) hair from having to be bleached into destruction...just to add color. A little side note...I wash my hair less than the average person I believe, and I use a quality conditioning shampoo. I really love that I can get so many uses out of one package. With regular hair color, many times you have to use TWO packages for one color treatment to cover your hair....scandalous lol. OH, FYI, I never throw it out, what's left after I color. It dehydrates in the bowl, so I just cover it to keep it clean and add the warm water to re-hydrate what I didn't use previously. You can NEVER do that with standard hair color.

BEST HENNA: LIGHT MOUNTAIN
I never used a henna product before, so I did a lot of research. I decided on Light Mountain because it is the only product I found that is FDA approved, and you can email specialists for advice, and they call you back. Every box comes with plastic gloves & directions. I had used cream developer products for more years than I would care to admit to, and my hair broke so easily. I tried so many hair products, but my hair still broke off, and looked dull and horrible. I have natural curly, frizzy Caucasian hair, and I decided to try this product. I cannot rave enough about Light Mountain. After the first usage, my hair was exactly the color I wanted, and it is healthy, shiny, and does not break. Remember, no developer, this is mixed with distilled water. And this does not deposit ... I never used a henna product before, so I did a lot of research. Light Mountain has a regular type, and Color the Gray (which I have not used yet). I highly recommend this product. You must understand that this is a different type of hair color than developer products, but you can email their experts for advice.. I will NEVER go back to developer products. I am thrilled with Light Mountain.

worth the extra time, excellent results
Easy to mix. The consistency is a bit like mud,and it takes longer than traditional drugstore dye kits, but it is much more gentle. My hair doesn't fall out because of it like it does with other at home dyes. The results are beautiful color and amazing conditioning. I will not use anything else. Bright red is a very true description of color. It is a bit like a manic panic red at first, but it washes down gently to a more natural shade. I wash daily and have very little fade. I only have to re color when my roots are showing. My hairdresser commented on how uniform it is. Easy to mix. The consistency is a bit like mud,and it takes longer than traditional drugstore dye kits, but it is much more gentle. My hair doesn't fall out because of it like it does with other at home dyes.
