Guilty Pleasures - and Eric Balfour Naked, Again.
First I have to confess - I wanted this movie because it has Eric Balfour naked. Have you seen his body? There's a lot of guilty pleasure here to go around. In other words, if you don't like lots of sex scenes & naked people this isn't the movie for you. This is definitely an indie movie, with (what seems like)long scenes looking into the character's souls. There's also a lot of social commentary to be found about social mores of the time & sex habits of the young & uninhibited. The good - Eric Balfour naked. And to make it a little less voyeuristic those social comments about today's sex scene. The bad - some of the social comment type of scenes are drawn out & boring. There's no musical background & lots of soft-spoken comments, which makes scenes seem longer than they really are. But ... This is a extremely sexually explicit movie. This movie is basically about 2 screwed up people who are obsessed with each other. It’s Lust at first sight should cover it. After that there is not much more to say. . David (Eric Balfour) and Leila (Lauren Lee Smith star in this weird tail of sex. The sex looks so real and it has lots for full frontal nudity of both Eric an Lauren. Story line. ??? Who cares it’s slow and the cinematography is awful. At no time did I care about either of them It is basically soft core pornography. I LOVE Soft Core Porn!This is a extremely sexually explicit movie. If you hate chick flicks, you GOTTA see this!!!!
I admit I bought this to see Eric Balfour naked. I got such a surprise that it took me a minute to realize the surprise I was seeing!!!! Mainly because it isn't often done in a movie. I was VERY impressed with Eric's body. (And that's a serious understatement that I can't find any better way to describe.) This movie has a LOT of sex scenes, but they are REAL sex, not the fake stuff that Hollywood makes. This was a really great indie movie. Yes, it does look like soft porn, but it has a deeper picture if your mind is open to it. It is one of the best love stories I have ever seen because chick flicks make me want to puke (and I am female).I admit I bought this to see Eric Balfour naked. Feel what you see..don't be afraid.
This film is tastefully written and directed. The chemistry between the leads is phenomenal..NOT pretentious, NOT forced. lust, sex, and sex into love with true passion, right down to loud silences of the film..the earthy summer, the loneliness and awkward moments all mixed in with the need for love and physical intimacy and dependency..the soundtrack is just perfect..one of my top 10..if you hate chick flicks and corny "together forever" films..this is truly a breath of fresh air..so real you can almost "feel" what you see.This film is tastefully written and directed. The chemistry between the leads is phenomenal..NOT pretentious, NOT forced. lust, sex, and sex into love with true passion, right down to loud silences of the film..the earthy summer, the loneliness and awkward moments all mixed in with the need for love and physical intimacy and dependency..the soundtrack is just perfect..one of my top 10..if you hate chick flicks and corny "together forever" films..this is truly a breath of fresh air..so real you can almost "feel" what you see.

The plot of the movie is average, but you don't really care, because the nudity and the sex distracts you such that it's not about the plot anymore. Eric Balfour (Gabriel, Claire's psycho boyfriend on Six Feet Under) does several full-frontal nude scenes, including one where he is erect. I've never seen that much nudity by a male actor except in porno, so I'm surprised this film got the rating it did. This film pushes the limits between R and X-rating.
