B movie extreme
This movie looked and sounded great. Normally I like B movies if a good storyline this one was a complete miss. It is a story based on Norse Viking Mythology and not even the good mythology. Even if you like the beginning or middle I doubt you will like how this one ends. Definitely not keeping this one in my sword and sorcery collection of old era to new. So I can't recommend it to others.

Like Greek mythology and Grimm's fairy tales for adults
Would describe this story as a mixture of something from Grimm's fairy tales, Lord of the Rings and Excalibur. If you appreciate Greek mythology and other cultures' legends, then you could enjoy this interpretation as I did. It's definitely an adult ending where the lesson learned is a painful one. This fantasy film about an ancient German legend is well done and I loved seeing familiar actors such as the great Max Von Sydow and the wonderfully elegant Julian Sands. I would recommend this DVD.Would describe this story as a mixture of something from Grimm's fairy tales, Lord of the Rings and Excalibur. Pretty good movie, but wish there was more Rob in it :)
This movie was pretty good. It's a tragic love story filled with some gory scenes that are definitely not for children, but overall I still liked it :) I initially wanted to see it because Rob Pattinson is in it, but I was a little disapointed with his roll. The haircut they gave him was not flattering at all, and the roll was kind of a small one that made him look like the weak little brother, which is fine and worked well with the movie, but I would have loved to see him as the dragon slayer instead of the other guy ;)This movie was pretty good. I shouldn't review these "sword and sorcery" films. I am a sucker for them and even enjoy the bad ones. Not great acting, not great art, but a bit of fun and nothing more. It is the story of Siegfried and the ring of the Niebelung. Wagner did a better job with his opera but some of us owuld like to hear this norther european legend without sitting through hours of opera, so here it is with rather enjoyable special effects. Not a bad moie
If you like sci-fi types of movies, then you'll like this one. It has Robert Pattinson in it-one of his first movie roles. His part is not major, and his acting is alright. Based on mythology, myths, and love, it's not a bad movie to own or watch.
