Item as described, well packaged (not original box), delivered in 2 days of dispatch. I have not fully tested all aspect of recorder but what I have works as it should. Replacement remote control works as it should but is a cheap version compared to Sony remote. Would buy again from this seller 5*

I actually received one of the other Panasonic video players that was being listed, but not the HV61 model that was pictured in the listing i was buying from, however the player arrived super quick and was very well packaged which meant i could carry on watching one of my videos in no time at all. The player works like new and is very smooth. I would still recommend this seller to buy from.

does what it says, but the price could be cheaper.
I wont say its easy to use, but rather not that difficult esp. if you read the simple instructions. However to get all the benefits from this unit would require some patience as the remote control could be more user friendly. The TV dongle did not pick up my Wi-Fi signal so had to use adaptor TP 600 link. The sound quality appears good but somehow was unrecognisable on two separate occasions after having installed unit for just a few weeks. Re-booting solved the problems, and I hope this problem is a one or two off. The lighting display on the actual unit is poor ( not bright and too small ) and cannot be adjusted. The recording plan needs some improvement as programs already recorded will still show to be recorded ( again?? ) if that program is repeated a few days later on the same ... You will need two LNB connections if you wish to watch one program and record another at the same time, this is normal and not a fault but merely to advise potential buyers.

Pros Very easy to set up. Menus are easy to navigate and are in logical locations. Picture quality is good. Finding programs from earlier is a great and easy to use feature. The on demand feature like 'All 4' is great (much better than Sky's on demand service) 'Youtube' is also available. Download the Freesat app for your phone or tablet allows you to have not only an extra remote control, but by registering a Freesat ID, you can control your recordings and set programs to record away from home. No monthly subscription costs. Can play media from a memory stick or hard drive with two USB ports being available. One USB port is at the rear of the unit allowing a Hard drive to be discretely plugged in. The other USB port is on the front of the unit allowing easy access if using a memory stick ... Excellent bit of kit apart from slow start up procedure
I used to have a BT TV service and the warm up time on the box was super fast so this one taking about 30 seconds now seems slow. I am not quite as pleased with the way the EPG and channel selection works as I would have expected and occasionally it is laggy on making selections (which causes the screen to go blank for a second). Light and easy to setup
My daughter bought this through my eBay account. It came well wrapped and in its original box, looked as new. Took it to my daughters house removed her basic free view box. Plugged it in and that was it found the channel and that was it. Great picture better than the one she had, seemed more crisp and clear. Daughter had read lots of reviews good and bad decided this was for her as she didn't want a monthly fee to pay, and she is as of now still happy with it. Taping was one of the main points, she has stated the ease of use and has said the taped programmes are just as good as watching live. My daughter bought this through my eBay account. Humax 1000s free sat recorder
Five minutes to set up with great picture, no need for any adjustment to satellite dish previously used for sky. Even a mobile app available to operate box and record remotely, app works better and easier to use than sky version. A great purchase, would recommend to anyone.
