For the most part it is plug and play. The bolt hole on the tank is a slightly different thread pattern than the old bolt used to install the new tank back to the mower. You have to reuse your old bolts that hold the old tank and carburetor assembly to the mower. The bar that goes across the front of the tank and fastens to the block are also( in my case) just slightly out of alignment and I had to just get the three bolts started and tighten each one a little at a time to make it work. It only took about twenty minutes to uninstall the old tank/carb. and install the new tank and have the mower up and running again. good luck, Todd

Installed this carb and fuel tank set up on my 5+year old 2.5 Hp Brigg 18" lawnmower, started up on the first pull and went out and mowed about 2.5 acres of grass on 1 1/2 tanks of gas, the engine barely bogged down on the hard stuff and it seemed the engine ran cooler than it used to. Very pleased with the easy install and how much better the mower runs.

Item arrived with parts of carburetor broken off (it is plastic) but they were inside package. Box looked like it had been smashed somewhere between shipping and arrival. I did not contact seller because, according to other reviews, tank/carburetor would need slight modifications for fitment. I super-glued throttle stop back on, glued another chip that would not have affected function anyhow. Filled tank with gasoline, primed carb, and pulled the rope. Lawn mower runs better than I remember it did when it was new. Modifications: hole for throttle rod was smaller than rod...had to enlarge hole with small drill bit.. Threaded mounting hole on tank was filled with paint and was too small for original bolt. I tapped hole to 1/4 x 20 and used a new 1/4x20 bolt . Front mtg. bracket of mower rested on top of tank wouldn't allow bolt to be inserted so I enlarged hole. That may sound like a lot of work, but entire tank/carburetor swap with mods only took about 45 minutes from start to finish. Would I purchase another? Absolutely. Especially since local small-engine shop estimated $65-85 plus parts to get my 10 year old $120 mower running again. I ended up with new tank, new carburetor, new primer bulb and new gas cap for less than $35. That's a deal. Just want you to be aware that you may have to take a short time to make it fit.Vollständige Rezension lesen

some models of 10h902 the metal straw pipe is different in distance on carburetor so easy fix is cut put rubber hose on it with peace of pipe be cool if make corner elbow little longer be great then be easy fix for older and newer models distance all was change on maker that make parts ,but run fine no dips ,no dives, no choke out. but one warning i put with carburetor's is ethonel to put stabilizers in fuel i had one jam needle not cool when motor stops sounds like back fire mess and try fix scraped up pin walls, there way jb weld epoxy then sit there for hours carefully sanding it not fun at all. thank you for that price great value and gives buyers right stuff get job done right.

So what if it's a Taiwan knockoff - IT'S A GREAT CARB & great value!! Here on ebay, it's cost was about $10 less than comparable models/competitor's sites (such as Amazon, etc). Bottom line here: my aging Yard Machine now runs like ROCKET !! For those folks inclined to tinker: please do yourselves a favor & resurface the carb base/intake face on your mower's gas tank BEFORE installing this carb: mine was warped-to-hell. It took all of 5 minutes w/ a fine, wide Swiss-pattern file (tank had 5 high spots, all corresponding to the 5 carb flange bolts). Good luck.
