This is quite an old lens now , and at the budget end of the range, Mount is plastic and the whole thing is very light - useful for carrying around. Zoom range is good.Focusses quickly. Image sharp. Motor not as noisy as anticipated from description.

This is a very good lense for the price but it cannot focus on close up objects. But other than that it works fine.

I bought this lens to replace the existing 18-55 one supplied with the camera. I wish I had done so before! It is smaller but very verseatile and, of course, takes superb pictures.
