For the money it’s a Great buy. Just don’t expect to saw three quarter board with it it won’t happen unless u have several batteries. It seems the drill is the best part in this set along with the flashlight. I’ve bought tons of flashlights and this is by far the best I’ve seen yet. Only bad part of this set is the batteries only last for 6 months. But that’s with everyday use. This I’ve got to say is a Must Buy tool set PCCK61L4

This is a great set of homeowner's tools. The batteries are small but charge quickly and should be all that anyone other than professional user's require. The drill and saw are both everyday items and are very powerful. The reciprocating saw may see less use but when you need it, it can do the job. The work light is bright and powerful but more of a flashlight that a large area light. Replacement batteries are readably available and and adapters to use other brands and 18v tools can be easily found too.

I was pleased and surprised at the power of this drill and saws. I used the recip, saw on a 4x4 post and it was an easy job. Drill drives 3" screws with ease. I have not tried the circular saw yet but it seems well made and balances well. Flash light is marginal but still usable. I give this kit 5 stars for value and utility.

Picked up an 18 gauge nailer from a friend and had no charger. So I purchased this set as a second backup to my dewalts. And have a charger for the nailer. The charger seems cheap, hoping it lasts, as it’s the only one I have and the reason I bought the set. Porter cable is certainly not as good as they used to be. But I would rate them over the ryobi, craftsman or rigid. All in all it seems to be a decent home user set for the price.

I purchased this set specifically to help me with a 3-board farm fence project. Using every item but the flashlight all performed to my satisfaction. The saws-all is strong, and I only used the skil saw for occasional cuts, when my measurements with my corded version left too much overhang. Primarily, I was securing boards to posts using the drill. And it had enough torque to sink 3 in deck screws. Why didn't I use a framing, nailer? The posts were fairly small diameter and the boards were pretty sturdy poplar, so I worried about splitting both slat and post. I did use my old porter cable 18v drill to drill pilot holes. I think the batteries are great to get you started, though I am considering purchasing one or two with larger amp/hour ratings. As with my older 18v drill, once the batteries have some age (after warranty is up), I will most likely go with rebuilt replacements as there is absolutely no reason to throw out a perfectly good tool(s).Vollständige Rezension lesen
