Very capable unit in a compact package
This and other Nitecore units I've purchased have been good performers in the work environment, they take a fair amount of punishment and put out a lot of light for a compact unit, with a good beam and user selectanle brightness levels to suit the application. On this one the USB charging feature is handy, however I prefer the models with the switch on the back rather than on the side. In my experience the Nitecore branded batteries are also miles better than three other brands I've tried, even if the mAh capacity of the others was claimed to be higher.This and other Nitecore units I've purchased have been good performers in the work environment, they take a fair amount of punishment and put out a lot of light for a compact unit, with a good beam and user selectanle brightness levels to suit the application. Nitecore MH12 USB Rechargeable Flashlight: Outstanding!
I own a large variety of Surefire, Streamlight, Nitecore, Thrunite, Fenix and other higher end EDC/Work lights and this has quickly become my reference favorite. 1000 lumen advertised brightness, and I have no cause to doubt the claim, the beam throw is really impressive. Weather sealed side button mode control is intuitive and easy to find thanks to the button backlight that doubles as an accurate power gauge. Recharges a single 18650 battery internally via a standard micro USB port; no need for a separate charger or removing the battery. Charge it with a common USB cable from your computer or standard phone charger. Also works on 2 123A lithium batteries. Do NOT attempt to charge 123A size batteries internally. Clip is solid and works well and doesn't seem to cause a hot spot in the ... I am Amazed,
This flashlight is exstreamly Bright for it's compact size. The control buttons are positioned well and work easily. The Quality of this product is very aceptable. The Directions to use are plainly easy to understand! The USB charging capabilities are my main reason for choosing this item and it's ease of use is definitely a Plus. I would recommend this light to anyone for any purpose one could want a light. I don't know if it is approved for use in explosive gas areas as it doesn't say it is and would need to be looked into before purchasing for this use! I have nothing negative to say about the unit, I thought it was a bit pricey before I got it but now I must admit it is worth every penny!This flashlight is exstreamly Bright for it's compact size. Not worth the money
This light could not possibly be 1000 lumens...a friend of mine has a 350 lumen light that he bought at Lowe's for less than $25 that is as bright or brighter than this light is...the rechargeable feature is nice and the light is very well built...it's just disappointing that it's not as bright as advertised...no way no how!

its a strong flashlight and u can see in darke so far
its a very good flashlight and u can use every were its a small and in the same time its a strong light. battary can use it for 3 or 4 days without charge
