Although a few episodes border on ridiculous, Season Three of Due South is still enjoyable...... you just can't go wrong with Paul Gross as a Mountie! He's one of the most 'natural' actors I've ever seen and this role suits him perfectly! The other characters get to develop as individuals, too. There is never an explanation as to why Stanley Kowalski is covering for Ray Veccio AS Ray Veccio until "Call of the Wild", so wait for it. ("Call of the Wild" is sold separately, so I had purchased it and knew what was coming.) The episodes are not numbered, so unless you read the back cover, it is unclear in which order to watch, and "Call of the Wild" IS the "wrap-up" of the series, with no indication of that, so it's important that it comes last. Just take a minute to be sure the discs are in order, and it will make more sense. All in all, I am happy with the purchase and will watch the whole series at least a couple more times. So, go ahead..... if you enjoyed any of the first two seasons, you will also enjoy Season Three!Vollständige Rezension lesen

Although this show was not exactly a huge award winner, I liked the central core of the show. It showed a deep heart, and the characters were engaging as well as honest. One of the things that I loved most was the good family mood that it gave. I was sad to see due south end, but was extremely delighted when I found out that they finally put it out on dvd. This was a classic show. It had drama, action & comedy all put in one. It also gives you a look back to see how much our television viewing has changed over the last ten years. Would definitely recommend to all.
I loved the show so my opinion might be a little biased, but this was great! The season 3 DVD set actually includes both season 3 and 4 episodes and therefore includes the series finale (Call of the Wild: Part 1 and 2). This was also the collection that included all the episodes with the new Ray Vecchio (Callum Keith Rennie). The collection ended the show without leaving too many unanswered questions. I definitely recommend it for any Due South fan.
Awesome show. So glad I came across this show a few months ago. I bought season 1 and was hooked so I bought the rest of the series and just finished it last night. It was an amazing show. The Mountie and the Chicago detective working together with the Mountie's half wolf dog was such a great combo. They had great chemistry. I was sorry when David Marciano (detective Vecchio) left the show for a while due to contract issues but so happy SPOILER he was back for the two part series finale. The stories were engaging, the quirky Mountie and his wolf companion were adorable and Detective Vecchio was pure genius. I also like his replacement actor Rennie he was great, but I really missed having the original Det Vecchio. This was a great series and glad there were 4 seasons to enjoy but I wish there were more. Highly recommend.Vollständige Rezension lesen

We had been watching this old series during lockdown. Some of our disks were a bit scratched so we could not watch them all. We were pleased to find another copy. It’s used, but so far no scratches.
