    Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist

    I saw the movie of the same title, not knowing it was a book first, and thought I should read it. While many elements differ from the movie, I find myself liking the book a bit better than the movie. The characters are not so flat; in this book, they are growing and learning about themselves at every turn, rather than falling into stock profiles and stereotypes. My only complain is the overuse of the f-word. I understand that young adults of a certain age are wont to use such language, in hopes of sounding like adults, but I believe the writers took it a bit too far. I recognize their effort to emulate 18-year-olds, but the profanity was on the precipice of excessive.

    Awesome story, easy read

    I loved this book. I saw the previews for the movie and decided that I wanted to read the book before the movie came out. I started reading the book as soon as I got it in the mail, and I couldn't stop! I ended up finishing it within 24 hours of starting. It has an amazing story line, and I liked that the point of view switched from Nick to Norah for each chapter. I also liked that I knew most of the stuff the characters were talking about (i.e. the show "My So-Called Life" -- love it!). I highly recommend this book for anyone with a little extra time on their hands who is looking for something different.

    Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist

    I wanted a chance to read the book before the movie came out. It was such a sweet story (use of language is questionable) and keeps you reading. The unique perspectives of both Nick and Norah switch every chapter so you see both sides of an event. Very good buy.
