Blood and Gold Repeats Armand's Story
I was so excited when I got my copy of Blood and Gold, since Marius is my favorite vampire in Anne Rice's books. I had previously read the book about Armand and because of this Blood and Gold, I discovered through reading it, was merely a retelling of Armand's story for most of the book. Yes, there are details of Maris' life with Pandora and God of the Grove, but the biggest chunk of this book is a retelling of Armand's story.
