I liked it & could see where they used the video game
I was never really a fan of the video game series. I just didn't play it much but saw where they put different elements from the games from XBOX into the movie. I personal liked the movie the action scenes are really cool. Using like the crounching tiger hidden dagger effects. Seeing kevin Nash in it was pretty cool too as a wrestling fan. I felt it was pretty good.If your a gamer you might like it & might not being if you are a fan of the series. DOA Movie!
To be honest with you! I have seen this movie before I bought it. I didn't really like it that much. The characters... weren't who they were supposed to be... Hayate.. didn't look like Hayate, Christie didn't really look like Christie, Tina was ok... and kasumi... didn't really look like kasumi, the actor that played Hayabusa... was extremely hott! haha but he didn't really look like hayabusa, Zack was way to annoying.. not exactly what I pictured him as,Ayane... well i thought they would put her in the movie a different way just because of how her character really is... Well I think you get the picture. The movie itself wasn't that bad but still I wish they put more characters in the movie from DOA 4... and followed the story alittle bit. On the back of ... I thought it was werid how they were all friends almost like Xtreme2 but.. i don't know kind of hard to say if this movie was really good or not but all I know is that they changed the characters.. and to me,a cosplyer, it doesn't make things seem like "real" or leave a "maybe that's what the character looked like" in my imagination. If i didn't like the movie that much then why did I buy it.. you may ask.. well i couldn't find the sountrack so that's pretty much why i bought it and I am kind of a collector or video game, or anime movies good or not good.

D.O.A: Dead or Alive
I first saw this movie on TNT and I got pissed. Not at the movie but at all those damned commercials that kept interrupting the movie. This movie is the greatest adaptation of a video game to a movie since the Mortal Kombat franchises. I especially love Jamie Pressley's character. For so long, all producers and directors have ever done is portray her as trailer-trash. This is her break-out role that shows the world that she is more than where she came from. The fighting and the intensity of the movie is impeccable. You have all the elements that makes you fall in love with this movie on sight. You have the geek who gets the pretty girl, the family drama of life and death, the transition from friends to lovers.... This is a must-have, must-see movie that will have you asking, ...
