    More than a biography; The Revenant encompasses much of the history West in the early 1800's

    The Revenant is an excellent rendering of the exploration and expansion west in the early 1800's. The Revenant covers the exploits, struggles and survival of Hugh Glass. It also vividly describes the brutal frontier life of trappers, Native Americans and frontier folks during the early 1800's. If you are into the Lewis and Clark and Jim Bridger era, this is a book you should read.

    Phenomenal story.

    I purchased this product because I wanted to find out about the background to the Hugh Glass legend. Looking forward to seeing the movie.
