Pitbull Syndicate's debut PS2 title, Test Drive, thrusts players into the high-stakes world of underground street racing. Recruited by Donald Clark, a crippled street racer with a vested interest in the underground scene, players assume the guise of Dennis Black, whom Clark convinces to race in his place. Once inducted, players will travel to San Francisco, Tokyo, London, and Monte Carlo, where they'll compete in Linear, Circuit, and Navigation events with the aim of winning, or at the very least, finishing in the top three of each. The Linear events are little more than a straight dash for the finish line, with checkpoints scattered at various intervals in between. Circuit events are simply lap-based encounters, while the Navigation Challenge pits players against the clock, with nothing but prompts from an onscreen arrow for guidance.<br><br>Success will reward players with money and an increasingly large selection of muscle cars in which to race, all of which are licensed from real-life manufacturers, such as Lotus, Dodge, and Jaguar. Occasionally, players will also find themselves embroiled in drag-racing events against other drivers involved in the underground league; typical caricatures with names such as Vasily Raskolnikov, Nells von Stadt, Big T, and Reese Weston. Eventually, the cops will get wind of your illegal racing activities and set out to put an end to them. Usually the cops will detain you only momentarily before letting you go on your way, but in certain cities, capture by "the fuzz" will result in arrest and instant race failure.<br><br>Other modes offered include Single Race, Quick Race, and Two-Player, along with the role-reversing Cop Chase. Cop Chase turns the tables, allowing players to take the wheel of a cop car and chase down a group of illegal racers. Players make arrests by bumping into each racer three times. An "Extras" section houses various statistics such as course records and car specifications. To while away the seconds during loading sequences, players can look forward to a fully playable re-creation of Pong, for one or two player competition. Test Drive's soundtrack consists of a cross-section of licensed songs from the likes of Ja Rule, Moby, Saliva, and Crud.

Test Drive: Eve of Destruction
Test Drive: Eve of Destruction is by far one of the best video games I have ever played. Personally, I don't like playing PlayStation, XBOX or Nintendo, but I have made a huge exception in this case. During the day, I will sit down and turn the game on just to play it. The only defect in this game is the commentary. My brother and I agree that the guy doing the announcing is not all there. We like to listen just to laugh, but we don't usually enjoy the things he says. He is obsessed with "dead cars" or "the wall" because it's "not a mark!" We have never unlocked the entire game, but we are about 3/4 of the way there. There are courses like Mankato, Hastings, Hampton and Woodville, but there is also a selection of cars. There are many categories as well. The compact cars, muscle, special ... Test Drive: Eve of Destruction is by far one of the best video games I have ever played. This is when you are given some money and a car you received in your grandma's will. You then have to race eves and race people at T.J.'s Diner. When you get ranked below 80 you can paint your car at Sweeney's. You can also buy used cars at Sweeney's. You don't have to be a wizard to play this game; either way, you'll have a heck of a lot of fun!

Will alway love this game
Keep in mind this is for a game system 2 generations removed from current systems. Loved this game since it came out in 2002(?) and is probably the best 2 person (local) racing game ever. Current games can learn a lot from this. Easy to pick up and play, fun with a friend

The KING of all demo derby games!
What can I say about it?? Besides that there is no competition when it comes to realistic demo derby games?? IT ROCKS! I bought it new a couple years ago, and we still play it all the time. Me and my room mates play the multi-player option on this a lot more than Halo or any other video game! The soundtrack rocks! It is equally good playing in single player mode. It has a lot of different multi-player games to play including the chain race, trailer race, straight-up demo derby, figure-8, flagpole race, soccer, and a battle mode where you shoot chickens at your opponent. The only downside to this game, at least for hard-core demo derby fans, is the unrealistic damage engine. Your car's life is a set amount and your opposition can take that all out of the front, or back, instead of your ... What can I say about it?? And the fact that your door can fly off, real derby guys weld or chain them shut.. But otherwise the damage looks cool on screen. It may seem a lot to pay, $30 for a USED copy... but this is a classic well worth the money!

Test Drive: Eve of Destruction (Play Station 2)
This is a grate game for anyone that is like myself and don't care for all thoes games that require (x-x-x-o-o) for special moves stuff. This is one of thoes stright forward gas,brake,left,right type of games however it's still a lot of fun to paly. It's a 1 or 2 player game. There are several courses to play. My favorite is Battle(a 2 player only game) were you fire chicken missiles at your opponents car and try to destory it without getting destoryed yourself first. I first played this game with my cousins 12 year old boy. Then he loaned me the game to take on the road with me in my big rig. I had it for a couple of months but had to return it. Well I was lost without the game so I went in search of this game. I couldn't find it anywere. So I got on ebay, done a search for it and there ...
