I am hard to fit for goggles having a prominent brow and deep set eyes. The seals on the 2.0 special ops are soft and comfortable and you won't be lifting the goggles to readjust them or give your eyes a break. The straps need another quarter of an inch in length because the are at their maximum extension for my 7-3/4 head size. Except for the "transitions" model, all the NCAA goggles have polarized lenses which are virtually useless in indoor pools- a really dumb marketing move by Tyr.

I have, now, been using these goggles for over a year and 4 months. I love these goggles. Generally, other goggle companies seem to make goggles which have no 'up' or 'down' relative to the goggles. Most other goggles aren't properly contoured to the face because of that. These goggles ARE to be put on only in one direction. The strap that goes between the eyes is where it SHOULD BE just like glasses have a higher than normal bridge. That is why these goggles fit so well; because they are properly contoured to fit a face. Other goggles, you have to tighten the straps too tight in an attempt to keep water from going under the sides. These goggles? The straps should be set just tight enough that no water goes under them. You should loosen the straps until it feels very comfortable (they tend to really tighten these straps, setting them for very small heads, straight from the factory... it seems). After you have properly set the tension on the straps, you will not get 'Raccoon Eyes', where you get a permanent dent in your face because the goggles are strapped too tight to your head, as most any other set of goggles forces you to do. All-in-all, these goggles are well thought out as far as the fit goes. About permanent fogging. It seems that, if you wear sunscreens, they can etch the plastic until they get permanently foggy. I found that one can use the abrasive aspects of a finger to polish the plastic. I wet the lens both inside and out and then rub with my finger back-and-forth every day. The ridges from my fingerprints are abrasive enough that they polish the plastic, over time. If they start getting permanently fogged, I also gently rub them with a cotton ball dipped in isopropyl alcohol. The abrasive aspect of the cotton ball, just as the abrasive action of fingerprints, tends to act to polish the lenses over time until they are clear again.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Love these goggle.. comfy in my open water swim and the photochromic lenses are fast reacting, protecting from the glare.

Overall, these are pretty good googles. They have good visibility that allows you to have a wide peripheral vision as the lens wraps around the edges. The gaskets have a gel like feel to them, still firm but not so hard edged. The tint works within seconds of being exposed to UV light. It darkens to what I estimate to be about 5% darkness. This doesn't sound that significant but it cuts out that extra glare. I think they're ideal for swimming in open water on overcast days. I would justify the price for the fit, comfort, and the wide visibility.

This is my 2nd pair. First pair had the fogged/polar effect but the material slowly faded away. These fit very well, are comfortable and provide great vision. Highly recommend.
