Gamers may get down and Boogie in this singing and dancing party game as they attempt to complete combos and rack up high scores. Using the Wii Remote and Nunchuk, players manipulate the arms, legs, upper torso, and mouth of the onscreen character. Special moves are achieved through specific movements, and gamers may also build up a "Boogie Meter" to execute high-scoring choreography.<br><br>If players are not in the mood for dancing, they can compete in lyrical contests instead. The initial release of Boogie comes packaged with a USB microphone. Gamers select a tune from over 40 licensed songs, and then sing-a-long while being graded on pitch and timing. For shy singers, the game includes an option that allows the song vocals to be played over the player's voice while still tracking how they sound. <br><br>Both singing and dancing gamers may record their most favorite performances and share them with friends and family. Online, players can customize the hair and clothing of their characters, and then challenge other players to a variety of activities.

Boogie for Wii
This game is a lot of fun but it's more for a younger crowd I think. If you're looking for a party game for adults, I'd suggest something else. From the trailers released by EA, it looks like you can sing a duet, so I was disappointed to find that you can't. The dancing is a lot of fun and a great workout. The story feature is fun...the "make your own music video" feature is kind of lame. All in all, it's a fun game, but I wouldn't pay more than $20 for it. Boogie with BOOGIE!!
My kids absolutely LOVE this game! Aside from being easy to use and navigate, the special effects optios for the videos are AWESOME! They have so much fun picking their songs, following the words, and creating their own videos, that they forget they are actually learning something too! They have to read to know the words, and they want to read to make a video....very sneaky! Seriously, we have had a blast with this. I did not expect it to be more than a party toy, and it has become a favorite, even with the boys!!My kids absolutely LOVE this game! A great find!!!
My kids had this game before and loved it and perhaps this is what caused it to stop working, (over use) but then I found this great seller and purchased this great find. It made two children very happy. This game is perfect for all ages and is easy to use. Hours of fun for the whole family, we enjoy opening new songs and laughing at each other as we try to sing or dance to them. We wanted a game that the whole family good enjoy and this seemed to be the ticket. We enjoy singing and dancing even though we are not that good. This game is alot of fun when you have a group of people together. The song choices are good. One of the cons is that the writing for the kareoke is very small. So unless you have a big TV you will have a hard time reading the words as you sing. Overall its a fun entertaining game!We wanted a game that the whole family good enjoy and this seemed to be the ticket. We enjoy singing and dancing even though we are not that good. Karaoke fun
I like karaoke. This game is fun, just don't play it on a daily basis. The song list is limited. You don't know how bad you sing until you hear yourself. This game lets you create music videos with your voice. For good singers that is great. For bad singers like myself, it is a feature that makes your friend laugh at you. All in all, it is fun!!!
