We have one aim - to offer you the goods, prices and service you want. All our prices include VAT and since we ship from the UK Mainland we are able to provide a full VAT invoice for those companies who are able to claim the VAT back.
 
Shipping and Handling
 
Unless otherwise specified by the customer, the majority of items will be sent by Second Class Royal Mail postage. (Royal Mail 48)
 
Royal Mail currently aims to deliver 92% of items posted via this service within two working days; however we do require 14 working days to have passed before making a claim from Royal Mail and sending out a replacement.
 
There is an exception to this rule for particularly expensive or heavy items (1.25kg+) which will usually sent by next day courier.
 
We do endeavour to get all orders placed before 5:00pm sent out on a same day basis and there are few exceptions however if delivery is particularly urgent please contact us before ordering as this delivery schedule is not guaranteed.
 
Cancelling an order
 
Under UK law, you have the right to cancel the contract for your purchase within 7 working days of delivery.
 
To cancel a contract, write "Cancel Contract" on the back of the invoice. Package the items securely, open a returns request through 'my ebay' and follow the return instructions they give you.
 
Note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless we delivered the item to you in error.
 
You should be aware that once we begin the delivery process, you will not be able to cancel any contract you have with us for services carried out by us (for example, postage and packing) When we receive the goods with the notice of your cancellation of this order, we will refund the relevant part of the purchase price for that item.
 
Delivery Schedule

We also close for seasonal holidays & Bank holidays.
 
Back Orders
 
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. We will endeavour to email you with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

In the event of malfunction we will guarantee the product up to a maximum of one year from the date of purchase (unless expressly stated within the listing) however we reserve the right to charge the cost of the cartridge plus a handling fee if we replace a cartridge returned by a customer which is later found to be empty.
 
If you are not satisfied with your item, you can return it for a refund.
 
If you wish to return a product, please e-mail us to let us know the item is coming back to us or open a return via the ebay managed return process which we fully support. Please note that if you return an item using this method, we can only offer a refund for the item and NOT a replacement as this system does not allow any other resolution.

    Good DVD reader/writer, except no fixings

    It's not better than I expected, because I expected it to work and it does. It is installed in and powered by an older computer and connected via an adaptor to a USB port on a more recent one, but still running XP pro. It was recognised immediately and both reads and writes on DVD-R disks. I probably won't be trying to write on any other kind. I have used the free CDburnerXP program (which actually works with CDs and DVDs and all operating systems up to Windows 10, I believe) to write, and VLC to play video and music. No problems. It comes with a disk with 3 optional programs, but no driver, which should not be needed. There is some "green" program which keeps track of its energy usage so I know how much planet I have saved. There is an extremely limited version of Nero which nags you to ...

    Not as solid as a quality unit but does the job.

    My (very) old CD expired so I wanted a cheap CD/DVD player to install the odd program and occasionally watch a DVD, this does it. No frills, no bells or whistles just does the job (for under £20 including postage!). Obviously not as solid (or heavy) as a quality unit but still feels robust. I am pleased with the purchase.

    if you want it fast power saving and a solid burn with no errors this is the drive you want

    this unit is quick effective and fits almost all desktop op systems it is a fast burner and accurate it goes in to sleep mode when not being used so you don't notice it until you need it and when you need it fly's like the wind to your assistance so yes a solid burn and durable as well speed adjuster via software and responds precisely just the way I like it

    Optical Drive with all formats

    Probably the only DVD Optical drive type you need to have on your computer. I did expect to have some DVD RAM software, but will format in Windows 10 anyway. Will only take single sided disks so double sided DVD Ran disks not usable. I am a fan of DVD RAM where a disk once formatted can be used like a removable hard drive wit 4.7 Gb capacity. rather than the WORM +R or -R disks. Good upgrade for systems supplied with only CD Rom drive or single format +R or -R DVD Drives.

    great burner at a great price

    great product at a good price - especially as it has an 'M' type laser for better burning qualities . By M -I mean the laser is for burning M discs therefore is stronger than a normal laser .
