The Pump works but cable length & orientation is wrong. Order with caution.
I have attempted to make contact with the seller, but they haven't answered - reluctantly, I'm leaving neutral feedback. The pump arrived but there was no model number on the box or pump so not sure how they know what bikes they fit onto. 1) The cable is way too short for my CBR900RR. 2) The pump orientation is wrong (with the inlet and outlet the wrong way around so had to re-plumb the fuel pump). 3) If I orientate it correctly as per bike original layout, the drain-off pipe is facing upwards. Note:- The pump seems to works fine but is very loud. Have only ran the bike for 20miles and it has ran with no issues. The blue cable sheathing concerns me as the cheap Chinese pumps use this and look exactly the same. I ordered as I assumed that it was coming from a reputable Canadian company ... The 20-year-old OEM fuel pump finally gave up (bad leak) on my Ninja ZX7R. I tried a $20 Chinese pump, but it leaked in the first 20 miles. The OEM (Mitsubishi) replacements are very expensive, so I emailed Quantum and asked about their pump reliability. They wrote back quickly to say they have very few complaints, and assured me of the lifetime warranty. So I took the plunge and ordered the Quantum Fuel Systems pump. Shipping was extremely fast (2 days), and the pump installed easily and has been working perfectly - though it's only been a month and barely over 100 miles of use.
