If you're a right-hand B-keyer like me...
Maybe I'm just old school. I learned to type on an IBM 286 PC, so I need the arrow keys where these are, and I need insert/home/pgup/pgdown/delete/home where these are. I can't change. I'll never change. They can't make me change. BUT I like a more comfortable, softer, quicker keyboard. And unfortunately for me... I strike the B key with my right hand. (Apparently most people don't???) So I can't use a "split" keyboard, which moves the B key for the left hand. This is it. This is the keyboard I'll own for life. I own 4 of them, so I will change parts, glue, and solder if I have to. The keyboards may break, but they'll never break me. Incidentally, if you ever find that a key stops working, (which takes years) google this keyboard model name for a very good solution. (Solder ... Maybe I'm just old school. Easy to use, but USB ONLY - does not adapt to PS2 use.
An excellent low cost keyboard, easily adapted to regardless of prior "straight" or "curved" keyboard use. It has only two drawbacks: 1: It's very light and needs to be put on a non-slip surface to avoid it moving while speed typing. 2: It is USB ONLY! It does not adapt to use in a PS2 keybaord slot via an adaptor (even the MS brand adaptor) so only buy if you plan to use in a USB slot.

Best keyboard I have owned
Great natural design and very convenient volume button on board. It's also has USB connectivity for ultimate ease. The buttons are at the perfect height, not too low and not too high. The buttons are not too loud when you type, nor are they too quiet. I need a little noise when I click a button for an audible confirmation that I actually struck the intended key. Normally this would have been a 5/5, but my first keyboard had one key that malfunctioned after a year.Great natural design and very convenient volume button on board. Got the 2000, it's great, Got the 4000, I'm in love!
I bought the Microsoft 2000 keyboard to try the ergonomic style. I have fingers on my left hand that were injured many years ago and wanted to try something that might make it easier to type. It was a wonder. Very comfortable and natural. I was very pleased, but had gotten as a gift for my sister who works for a medical equipment company. She loves it and we made a wire bracket to hold it in front of the desk drawer and at an angle. It solved her fatigue problems. I then got the Microsoft 4000 keyboard and was even more pleased with it. Sis wants the 4000 because of the extra functions and dedicated keys. However, the tech folks at work won't let her use it because she has to install the driver to use the best functions. I get to keep it here and she comes to use it on the weekends. The ... Favorite Keyboard Ever!
It is slim, not like the average ergonomic keyboard that tends to be bulky. The keys are not overly rotated. Easy to use.
