Product Information

The Madden NFL series returns to Xbox 360 with a number of enhancements to the on-field action, play modes, and presentation. More than 100 tweaks to the defensive artificial intelligence are included, with the computer designed to be more adept at reading and reacting to plays, breaking out of assignments when necessary, and more. A new collision system factors in an athlete's momentum on hits, with over 100 new tackling animations added for more realism. <br><br>The presentation focuses on the little details of the NFL experience, from authentic run-outs for each team to the actual on-field cameras used by NFL Films. Also included are updated uniforms, new player equipment, helmet stickers, new player-specific animations, and uniforms and helmets that show wear and tear as games progress. Franchise mode introduces over 100 changes, from expanded rosters to a free-agent bidding system, while the Superstar mode lets your star athlete earn skill points during practices and games.<br><br>A new dynamic player performance system finds an individual athlete's skills and confidence improving or deteriorating based on in-game performances. Other key features include the option to build an "Ultimate Team" of past and present superstars by buying, auctioning, and trading player cards, and the ability to form and join online communities that make it easier for Madden fans to interact with each other. Owners will also be able to modify existing playbooks or create their own by picking and choosing up to 400 offensive or defensive plays.

    Awesome game, incredible graphics, and great team introductions

    Probably the most realistic Madden to-date, but the overall smoothness of gameplay has decreased in comparison to Madden 11. The quick button audibles have changed slightly making the transition from Madden 11 one that takes some getting used to. Still its a great game and a must have for any football fan and gaming fan with the added features like Madden Arena, NFL.com Fantasy, and completely customizeable playbooks and gameplans. Oh, and lest I forget - FINALLY SOME DIFFERENT COLOR COMMENTARY!

    The game is average, pick it up cheap now.

    I've been a longtime player and have been playing NCAA 12 since it's release. I like the play selection and gameplay better in NCAA 12. Madden 12 seems to be designed with the casual gamer in mind with the dumb downed play selection. You can customize game menus and the playbook. I enjoy the franchise mode the best. It is robust from the expanded rosters in pre-season, to scouting of the draft prospects throughout the season. I enjoy saving my draft classes in NCAA 12 and importing them into Madden. Over all it's worth picking up if you can get the game cheap. Be aware that you will not be able to play online if you buy a used copy.

    I donated this to Goodwill after playing it. Good graphics

    I played this game like several times and realized it was good. (Then I donated my Xbox 360 to charity because I decided the original Xbox was a better value and what I was looking for) Hopefully the new owner will like this pretty cool football game.

    Madden '12. If you still have an old Madden, don't buy this one.

    Same old Madden that EA puts out every year. They pretend to have made improvements (like every year), but they're not noticeable or not there. And, same as always, Madden finds a few ways to drive you nuts. You can't change the difficulty for the "Madden Moments" game mode (it's too easy). You can't skip past the intro coin flip and announcer babble at the beginning of the game (and unless you're playing your rival, they have the same dialog. Every. Single. Game.). In Madden '12 you have the option to Auto-Sprint or, like in the old games, you can choose to keep control of sprinting. However, if you don't Auto-Sprint, you can't pull the ball down as a quarterback - instead you just drift to the line of scrimmage looking like you still want to throw the ball. Game sucks.     7 Seasons later, I still love it....

    Still a fun game all these years later. Gameplay/graphics are very good. Had to remove/replace the disk a few times on my initial use of the game before it would load, but ever since it's been smooth sailing.
