1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions ( T&Cs ) govern all sales of vehicle keys, instrument clusters, and associated mileage reset/correction services ( Products/Services ) by Acealfa a UK-based trader.
By placing an order and completing payment via eBay, you explicitly accept these T&Cs as a binding contract. We operate under UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (CRA). All sales are for legitimate mileage correction only (e.g., syncing after genuine cluster replacement). We do not support or facilitate illegal odometer tampering ( clocking ).
2. Description of Products/Services
Vehicle Keys: Replacement keys & cases compatible with specified models.
Instrument Clusters: New or used dashboards with mileage reset to your verified true vehicle mileage (evidence required).
3. Legitimate Use & Buyer Declaration
By purchasing you confirm that:
The reset is for a genuine reason (e.g., cluster failure, import conversion, or ECU sync).
You will disclose the reset to future owners, insurers, MOT testers, and DVSA if required.
You accept full legal responsibility for any misuse.
By purchasing on eBay, you are making this declaration. We reserve the right to cancel orders without evidence of true mileage.
4. Safety-Critical Warning Lights – NON-NEGOTIABLE POLICY
WE WILL NOT DISABLE, BLANK, MASK, OR SUPPRESS ANY SAFETY-CRITICAL WARNING LIGHTS
This includes (but is not limited to):
Airbag/SRS
ABS
ESP/ESC
Engine Management (MIL)
Seatbelt
Tyre Pressure Monitoring
Any request to disable safety systems will be refused. Such actions are illegal under UK road safety law and void all warranties.
5. Pricing and Payment
Prices include VAT, I am not VAT registered.
Full payment required via eBay Managed Payments at time of purchase.
Services: Send item to us; processed within [5–7 business days]. Return shipping included in service fee.
6. Delivery and Shipping
UK mainland: [Royal Mail Special Delivery / Parcelforce] (insured).
Handling time: [1-2 days] for stock; [2–10 days] for services.
Risk passes to you upon delivery. Report damage within 48 hours.
7. Your Statutory Rights (Consumer Rights Act 2015)
Goods must be as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory quality.
30-day right to reject for full refund if faulty or not as described.
After 30 days: Repair → Replacement → Partial refund.
Used/refurbished items may show cosmetic wear – disclosed in listing.
8. Warranty
New parts: 12 months (parts)
Used/refurbished & services: 3 months (defects only)
Excludes: misuse, incorrect installation, or non-UK use.
No warranty if safety lights have been tampered with post-sale.
9. Returns & Cancellations
Unopened stock items: 14-day cooling-off (buyer pays return).
Services: Non-refundable once started.
Faulty items: Free return label if within CRA rights.
10. Compliance & Documentation
We comply with DVSA MOT guidelines. You must report mileage changes to DVSA if required.
Records kept for 6 years.
eBay purchase = legal acceptance of these T&Cs.
