Received this movie in very good condition as advertised. It played perfectly start to finish, and I was thrilled to find this OOP film to complete my Robert Altman collection. It took quite a while to arrive as seller took 6 days before shipping, and it was difficult to get a response to my queries. However, it was a positive buying experience as I did receive this excellent film in great condition, which is the most important thing.

Better by far than my old VHS tape of the same movie
I have an old VHS tape of this concert that I bought in my early teens (I'm in my 40s now) and this DVD blows it away, even from what I remember from when it was new! The picture is much clearer and I can hear every note the band played much more clearly. Somebody else commented about how the song "Walk All Over You" was cut short, but this is how the original film was released in 1980. In fact, the whole film is exactly the same with only two exceptions--the sound of the crowd cheering cuts out briefly between songs on the DVD which to me takes a little bit out of the movie--it just doesn't seem to flow as smoothly from each song to the next. The other difference I noted was that there was a little bit of narrative added in the beginning during the roadie scenes, about how many trucks ... I thought that was a nice touch. Another nice thing about the DVD that I didn't have with the videotape is that if you turn the captioning on you get to see the lyrics of the songs as they're being sung. There were a couple of times I caught where the lyrics they showed were wrong, but there were also a couple of times they showed the lyrics and they made a whole lot more sense than what I *thought* Bon Scott had sung all those years ago! Speaking of Bon, this movie was filmed only two months before he passed away so as a fan of AC/DC's earlier years that really makes this movie special to me. So glad I decided to look for it on DVD even though the videotape still works fine, which is surprising considering how much it's been watched. Couldn't have beaten the price of the DVD either--I think I may have paid less for the DVD than I did for the tape 25 years or so ago!

this is a must own DVD for any AC/DC fan. its very raw and very aggressive. the concert is from the highway to hell tour but the title let there be rock fits. this movie rocks. the entire band is on fire. Angus and Bon; Malcolm, Cliff, and Phil as a unit; all of them kick ass in this one. every song is great right from the opening, but during the third song, sin city, something noticeably changes in Angus and he goes into the zone. from then on, he is AMAZING to listen to and watch. there is great behind the scenes stuff with the band too. the roadies are included in the filming which is great. it really adds to the movie. compared to the most recently available DVD by the band, the picture quality obviously is lower. filming has advanced so much since this was made. but for the era this ... this is a must own DVD for any AC/DC fan. its very raw and very aggressive. the concert is from the highway to hell tour but the title let there be rock fits. this movie rocks. the entire band is on fire. the video is obviously shot in the seventies, but the music and the concert still remain a very nice insight into the earlier years of a band that has stood the test of time, great interviews and live show footage of pre back in black days with bon scott, I love it.

Totally amazing.
I saw this movie when it came out. I was in my early 20's. It was awesome then and awesome now. Their energy is amazing. No band can ever top Angus, Malcolm, or Bon. Never!!

Great concert that would better if they left out the interutions. Still, it is easy to skip them.
The sound says dolby 5.1. It is mono or was not mixed right. I am going to buy the Blue ray with hopes that it is better. This was the Paris show just before Bon died 41 years ago in February.
