SafeCracker challenges players to break into more than 35 safes that are scattered throughout the mansion. Each safe contains a clue to the backup code to the Master Safe which is your ultimate safecracking goal. To make the challenge a bit tougher, you must complete your task within a 12-hour period. The game uses a point-and-click interface with a "smart" cursor that changes to reflect possible on-screen activity. Puzzles range from fairly simple to deviously difficult, and the environmental setting is a labyrinth of more than 50 rooms with clues, hints, antiques, and an art collection.

I found this game while searching for some games which would not be filled with agressions, blood or shooting and other things I do not like too much. What I really like - is solving harmless riddles and having adventure-fun at the same time. This game includes all the wishes I have: it is adventure pure ... super 3D optic, a load of very clever riddles which need to be solved to open the doors of the next rooms. You have to find the testamental will of the Safe-Inventor who had lived in that house before. He died a short time before, and there seem to be a hand full of relatives, who try to gain the inheritance this man left. The music, the graphic-design, the story, and last not least the riddles is absolutely perfect! The riddles are really difficult - but yet to solve even without ... Must play for puzzle lovers.
Great game meant for all puzzle lovers. Safecracker is not about listening in on when the safe clicks, but working your noodles to figuring out the correct combination from hints and clues. Each solved puzzle is another key into finding the final save, which ultimately another puzzle at the end. Recommended for all ages, and even pairs to work together in solving a variety of puzzles. The game starts immediately after a brief introduction with no instructions given, and no miner detail should be ignored!Great game meant for all puzzle lovers. I can't tell if the game is good or bad, it does't work
I bought this game based on the listing description which stated: Windows 95/98/ME/XP. When I received the game, sure enough, the box says Windows 95/98/ME/XP, but as soon as I opened it the jewel case and the cd itself say Windows 95/98, no mention of ME/XP. I installed it and as soon as I tried to play it and got a "Skeleton Projector" error I contacted the manufacturer, Dreamcatchergames.com asking for a solution and no answer (good customer service). This is a waste of money, unless you want to go back to Windows 95 or 98 just to play this game.I bought this game based on the listing description which stated: Windows 95/98/ME/XP. DOES NOT WORK ON WINDOWS XP PRO
Somebody proove me wrong. I bought 3 copies and tried on 2 machines. Games says XP pro but it does not run. You get some sort of skeliton message and and error. They say there's a patch fix for it, but it didn't work. Now they're saying it's compatible with VISTA. You gotta be joking. VISTA is horrible anyway but that's not what we're talking about here.
