I wanted to upgrade from the D3200 to the D7200. I am not a professional, but am definitely serious about my hobby. I researched like crazy and it was a no-brainer for me to go with the d7200. Love the built in wi-fi & the fact that I can use it with an app on my phone (Galaxy Note). My main piece of advice is to make sure you are buying your Nikon (whether new or refurbished) from an AUTHORIZED NIKON dealer....if you do not...chances are you are most likely buying a "grey market" camera. (Research white market vs grey market Nikon if you are unsure what I am referring too). I purchased my refurbished D7200 from Adorama camera (they are authorized by Nikon) and received an absolutely perfect camera...it looks like it came right from the factory. The d7200 has a heavy duty feel to it & great grip area, which is perfect for me. I was able to take a pic the other evening, outside when the sun had just completely dipped below horizon...no flash, hand held & it turned out beautifully. With my d3200 I would find myself having to add a little color saturation to pics when editing...with my d7200, I have hardly had to edit at all because it captures perfect color in the pics... Basically...what I see through the lens is what it captures. Love, love, love this camera.....do yourself a favor...if you are on the fence about buying one....DO IT...you WILL NOT regret it. Upgraded to this from the Nikon D3200. The D3200 was great, but The D7200 has many more controls and capabilities so you can get the exact shot you are looking for. The colors are much deeper and less grainy, and the picture is much more sharp. Also, has better higher ISO picture quality. The autofocus system is super fast and phenomenal. One item I found a little difficult is the autofocus/half pressed shutter button. The half shutter button is much more sensitive, so it can be hard to adjust the focusing point and other controls while the shutter is held half way down, this causes additional accidental pictures. The D3200 had a better release button and you could feel the difference between being half way pressed and all the way down much better than the D7200. This is minor, just an observation that will take additional practice to master in my opinion. One item of note, if you have photoshop Lightroom, you must have the latest version (i believe lightroom 6 or higher) to be able to edit your raw files!!! Not Nikon's fault here, but I was super disappointing when trying to load into lightroom 5 and the photos were not recognized! You can still edit in lightroom 5, but you will need to have a program to convert the files to another format, such as .DNG or something similar. Thanks!Vollständige Rezension lesen

I'm one of those that don't want to spend too much money and getting too deep into photography, but wants a great camera for casual pictures and special occasions. I don't need full frame or video, I have a cell phone and an Osmo Mobile 2 gimbal for that. I upgraded from my D3100 that is a great beginner's camera, but I would like more features, so I upgraded to the D5600, which is perfect for my needs. Pros: *No anti alias filter, photos are noticeably sharper that my older model *39 autofocus points, 9 of them cross points. Huge difference! More photos in focus. *Articulating TOUCH SCREEN. This was a big one for me. *Wifi and bluetooth connectivity. If you shoot in RAW+Basic JPEG, the camera can automatically download pictures using the Snapbridge app. I can upload directly to the web now, and post process later. Cons *Snapbridge app can be finicky. I have a Samsung Galaxy S8+, and it took several tries. But once the camera is paired with the phone, it makes things much easier. *Autofocus during videos is not its strong point, but I have my S8+ and Osmo Mobile 2 for videos.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Easy to use? No. This particular camera is not meant to be a "pull out of the box and start shooting great photos" type of camera. It's a top end crop sensor camera with a TON of great features!! Of course, with TONS of features, there's a learning curve that comes with it. It took me some Youtubing and researching to figure out what every button does on the camera. You could read the manual, but I'm more of a video type of learner so youtube was the best for me. After learning what most of the buttons, features, and menu options do you will be flying with living colors in no time! The shutter sound of this camera is very very satisfying especially coming from a Canon Rebel T3. The body of the D7200 is very sturdy and feels great in the hands. It's heavy, but not overly heavy. Gives you the feel of real quality for a crop sensor camera. Overall I absolutely love the responsiveness and options this camera gives me! I have used it mainly for car photo shoots and couldn't be happier! If you don't have the money to go full frame and want something budget friendly but can perform, this IS the camera to buy! Job well done Nikon! Vollständige Rezension lesen

This camera is not easy to use and that's the point. It's not an entry-level DSLR so it is going to take time to get used to operating a camera with more features. The actual camera; the quality is tremendous and has met or exceeded every expectation. Paired this with an 18-105 Lens and it's very versatile and allows me to grab all of the shots that I want wherever I want.
