The decision to buy a 75mm Super-Angulon is frankly a bit of a luxury. Even so, there are a range of them available but you should look for samples where the vendor declares them to be in tip-top condition. Then you should not suffer any buyers remorse. My sample was a very clean and fully functional older Super-Angulon designed as a Compur #00 with a 26mm lens board hole fitting where more modern samples take a Copal #0 35mm hole. This might not affect your buying decision depending what lens boards are available to you. Also be aware that sub 75mm lenses may not allow you to close the standard if you have a press camera, due to the amount of glass behind the front standard. Pictures taken with short focal lengths allow you get really close in and produce quite dramatic images with the near distance objects seeming to be huge compared to the background and is the preferred artistic way to use such lenses, or as landscape lenses where this Super-Angulon has a 100 degree field of view. Bear in mind the eternal rule in photography that the subject matter makes the picture no matter how much money is spent on the camera and lens and this lens did not make me a better photographer, hence my statement about it being a luxury. But I have not regretted it and strive to find suitable subjects where I can justify taking pictures with it.Vollständige Rezension lesen
