I purchased this because I was having issues with a more expensive Lyman scale. Yes, I make sure to calibrate each scale before using. I also "warm" them up for 10 minutes too. I compared this scale to an analytical scale that I could calibrate to zero with a 85 grain weight. This scale was right on with the analytical scale while the Lyman drifted and ended up 0.2 grains low. I did this multiple times over multiple days before I am writing this review. This scale rarely drifts, is easy to calibrate and is more consistent when I weigh the same object 10 times in a row waiting 10 seconds between each weighing. I wish the instructions were printed larger, but I found them online and printed them out larger. For the money I feel this is a very good scale. I give it 4 out of 5 stars because the pan provided is "cheap". It tends to hold onto powder whereas the Lyman copper pan does not. So, I use the Lyman pan with this scale.Vollständige Rezension lesen

I bought the same model over five years ago, and it is flawless. The unit I bought recently is for my nephew. He's started reloading, and is "borrowing" my scale at the moment. And since he's used to the operation of it, this new one is for him. And I'll be getting mine back. Calibration is easy. The scale is unbelievably accurate and reliable. Very long battery life, and the automatic shut off if idle, is a good thing. Easy to read. Simple to use. Small and accurate. It's well worth it.

Weighed several 44 magnum & 30 caliber bullets to verify weight that I had, scale seemed to work well. I am satisfied with this little scale, easy to use & set up. My only complaint is the battery cover is hard to open.

I’ve had one of these for 10 years, or thereabouts. I have an RCBS 505 and a Lyman which I also use regularly however, these require a setup and are not helpful when weighing hundreds of individual bullets repeatedly. Comparing between the three, it is within 1/10 of a grain, certainly accurate enough for reloading. There are others that are more elaborate and have more features, but are priced commensurately. The original is still working, however, my wife put it somewhere so rather than spend a day looking for it, I bought a new one. Cost is low enough to make it worth it.

It’s a lot faster to use instead of the old balance beam type scale that I have been using for years.
