Best Sitcom Of All Time
My girlfriend bought me Season Seven of Seinfeld as an early X-mas present and she got me exactly what I wanted. It's so hilarious, every character on the show is funny even if some of the humor is a little off the wall (New York humor can be a little different at times, and living in the Midwest sometimes I don't always get all the humor, so at times it's geographical humor). Jerry has his observational jabs, Elaine gets her kicks making fun of Jerry and George, George is engaged while trying to getting out of it every chance he can, and Kramer, well he's Kramer. Seinfeld started out with season one and it wasn't as big of a success as it was during later years including the seventh season. It was funny, but a lot of it was dry humor, and you had really no idea if the show would even ... Seinfeld started out with season one and it wasn't as big of a success as it was during later years including the seventh season. It was funny, but a lot of it was dry humor, and you had really no idea if the show would even last, especially because the show wasn't really about much more than ordinary things that you do in life. The very first episode didn't even have Elaine in it, it had a somewhat annoying girl that stayed at Jerry's for the weekend even though she was engaged (which you didn't find out until later in the show to Jerry's amazed disappointment). Boy, am I glad they got rid of her. I can't imagine the show without Elaine. And the show sure picked up some steam, becoming one of the best sitcoms of all time (personally my favorite anyway). Season seven starts off with The Engagement where George gets engaged to Susan, who had previously broken up with him to become a lesbian but it didn't take as George puts it, and ends with The Invitations where Susan dies from licking the glue on the wedding invitations (where do these writers come up with these crazy storyline? I don't know, but they're genius). In between, George tries to get Susan to doubt her trust of him, he tries smoking to annoy her, and attempts to see if he can go out with Marisa Tomei behind Susan's back. In the last episode, he calls Marisa just after Susan has died for a date, telling her that he has the funeral tomorrow but he has the whole weekend free if she wants to do something. Just plain crazy humor, off the wall and carefree as only a Seinfeld show can be. There are many gems on Season Seven that made me laugh uncontrollably like The Soup Nazi, where an eccentric soup server who makes the best soup in the city decides if you're worthy enough to eat his soup. The Bottle Deposit has Kramer and Newman coming up with a crazy scheme to bring cans and bottles to Michigan to get the 10 cent refund instead of the 5 cent refund in New York, while Jerry takes his car to the mechanic (played by Brad Garrett of Everybody Loves Raymond) who then falls in love with his car and takes off with it. The Sponge is very funny but is also a noteworthy episode because Elaine coins the phrase "spongeworthy", which is now in many people's vocabulary just because of Seinfeld. I think my favorite episode, though, has to be The Rye. George and his family are invited to Susan's parents for dinner and they bring a rye bread, but George's dad brings it back with him afterward because it wasn't served. Then George and Jerry try sneaking another rye back into their apartment and I love the scene where Jerry wrestles the rye away from the old woman. So dumb, but so funny. I love it. The extras are also cool, the last episode has a few deleted scenes that can't be missed with the real George Steinbrenner. Seinfeld has become must see DVD. I highly recommend you buy every season of Seinfeld.

The Seinfeld DVD collection is the best selling TV series collection on the market for a good reason. It is simply the best TV series available on video. The characters: Jerry, George, Elaine, and Kramer are perfectly cast and perfectly played. The writing by Jerry Seinfeld, Larry David, and company is fantastic. The topics are hilarious because they all hit so close to home with simple, everyday themes. The extra features are delightful. There are lots of behind the scenes looks, interviews, stand up extras, bloopers, deleted scenes, commentaries, and more. The seventh season marks Seindfeld classics like "The Soup Nazi" and "The Wig Master".The Seinfeld DVD collection is the best selling TV series collection on the market for a good reason. Became a real fan
I always enjoyed seinfeld in passing when on t.v.....but after I purchased and watched every season on dvd...I became a true fan! I have enjoyed every episode they made and made a routine of watching at night before bed. It made a difference to laugh and be in a great mood the next morning. To me this show is one of the absolute best ever made. HAPPY WATCHING

FUNNY FUNNY FUNNY
My wife loves Seinfeld...and what a better gift than the gift of laughter. Ok Ok...there is one episode on here that I would have to say is my all time favorite...The Moviephone one... where Kramer gets the 555-FILK number and he pretends to the the movie info person. "Why dont you just tell me what movie you want to see?" This is a great video to add to the collection for a Seinfeld fan. Maybe they can have a reunion or them getting out of jail!!My wife loves Seinfeld...and what a better gift than the gift of laughter. Guess who designed Central Park in 1850?? You guessed it - Joe Pepitone!! I bought this season for "The Rye" episode; you know, Kramer buys in bulk and ends up feeding Rusty the Hansom Cab horsey his war surplus Beef-uh-Reno!! Rusty has a gas attack with George's future in-laws in the buggy. Who said this was a show about nothing? By this point in the series, the characters and dialog were so refined, there isn't a bad apple in the bunch. Giddyuppp!Guess who designed Central Park in 1850?? You guessed it - Joe Pepitone!!
