This is by far the best MP3 player I've ever had, easy to drag and drop files, the expanded memory is invaluable, excellent battery life, east to navigate around folders, none of the fiddly touchscreen nonsense, sound quality is very good with a pair of Bose headphones. My only gripe is that you can't easily take the battery out to replace it as I'm sure it will eventually fail (planned obsolescence?).

I did a bit of homework on this device and thought I'd made the right decision. Right for a start it feels cheap, the automatic noise limiter is a total pain, because I enjoy a deep base. I've used 5 different pairs of headphones on this device ranging in price from £6.99 - £97.50. The ones I'm currently using is the £6.99 Sony in-ear headphones. People have said this device is better than any phone, I disagree. The main reason I upgraded/bought this was for the battery life, I've only had it for a 2 weeks, so I'm still testing it. I bought mine as a refurbish model from Argos for £115, for this money I'm disappointed in Sony I had higher hopes.

Exceptional build quality! Excellent sound from the A-series amplifier. A great deal of sound settings even though most of them are not useful for sound improvement on MP3s (loosy sound compression algorithm). Due to the use of microSD, the available space to store data is huge, almost unlimited! I have installed a 256GB microSD card! The access time on the SD card is very fast, almost the same as with EEPROM (16GB). You need a good pair of headphones to appreciate the sound (more than $50 price). Video quality is insufficient compared to modern mobile phones. However, it is an MP3 player mainly, not a multimedia player. The battery time is amazing for music. Lasts for more than 50 hours of music! Excellent buy quality wise but expensive for sound only! Find it used in good condition for $100-$120 and it s perfectVollständige Rezension lesen

Bought this as a standby as ipod classic 160GB is starting to be unreliable, and it's revelatory! I stumped up for 128GB micro sd card, a leatherette case, and a couple of the proprietory USB Cables. The sd card is recognized as a removable drive on my laptop, so you can just drag and drop files to it, or use Sony's Software, ( Iaven't yet tried this). I use B&W P5 cans, with it, and have paired to Car Hi-Fi. Results either way are extremely impressive, tho it can take a while to connect via bluetooth. But the sound really is good! I've not really pushed the battery yet, but Sony's claimed 50 hrs refers to MP3 playback, so FLA, ALAC files will more than half that. So a powerbank or USB power plug come in handy if you can! FLAc and ALAC files sound superb, and Sony's upscaling DSEEX does improve mp3's. Accross my pretty varied taste in music, I've been delighted, and it beats ipod or phone music play by a mile. The screen is a little small, but adequate, I do not use graphic eq or other gadget enhancers. But then, I wouldn't with my medium to hi end HI FI at home. Thoroughly recommended for the money!Vollständige Rezension lesen

This is the best mp3 player I have ever had. It organisers the music and it has Bluetooth for my Bluetooth speaker and headphone.
