Excellent product. Fit nicely on my Remington 1100 G3. Fore stock was a little tight fitting over the gas cylinder, but did not require any sanding or material removable as mentioned in other reviews. Butt stock fit like a glove. Used it strait away on a duck hunt. LOP was same as OEM stock and recoil pad made it easy on the shoulder shooting high velocity 1-1/4 oz duck loads. Really an easy swap with the OEM furniture. Good investment if you want to eliminate the possibility of damaging the fine wood stock that comes with a new gun when you're out in the field or the tight confines of a waterfowl blind.

Overall quality was good. Some of the edges were sharp and were easily addressed with some fine sandpaper. I have read some reviews that stated the butt stock didn't fit well against the receiver, which I did notice as well. However once I removed the spacer that is standard with the wood stock, this stock fit very well. I took the gun to the range and shot a couple of rounds of trap, and the gun functioned well and had no more noticeable recoil, than it had previously with heavier wood stock. Overall, am satisfied with the purchase, just wish it was a little cheaper.

I was looking for a stock for my old rem 1100. It was my grandfather's trap shooting shotgun so I really didn't want to beat it up to bad shooting 3 gun. This was a solid investment. Not only does it fit great but it looks good as well and it keeps my hardwood stock safe for my kids some day. Thank you for a wonderful product and excellent service. God bless Sgt Ted Trenary

The stock fit nicely on my 1100 with no problems. The forend did not fit at all. It was too narrow. I don't know if it was packaged wrongly or fit another type of Remington product. In order to use it I had to grind away at least 1/8 of an inch on either side along the entire length of its contact with the barrel. I should have returned the whole order but with the stock fitting and my being able to modify the forend myself, I made it work. There was no indication it would not fit my 1100. It said 1100 or 1187.

Design looks nice, but had to grind about 1/4 inch of material off where it meets the gun body. I have a model that was built in 1968 so I'm guessing the design changed a bit in that time. With a bench grinder it only took about 2 minutes make fit.
