Pro; easy to use kit. Cleaned up nicely. Con; A lost of liquid was lost at the first attempt to apply it to the brushes, because there are no instructions to say that you have to pierce a home in the nozzle. The nozzle flew off, and most of liquid with it. Overall though, excellent product.

I have a Trio Amp and CD Deck circa 1983 (DP 750). I've always loved the sound from these seperates but the CD was starting to miss and jump. Not surprising considering it's age. I was worried it was on it's last legs but tried this lens cleaner which has brought her back to life once more. It's not often that life brings easy remedies. The liquid that you are directed to place on the supplied cd needs a needle to penetrate the seal and then a drop on each brush before placing in the player. It then gives you instructions in several languages, I couldn't tell you how many because I was only using English. A couple of minutes later and all is done. When I first placed the liquid on the CD brushes I did feel it was more than may be necessary so I removed the excess with a tissue before starting so I didn't have fluid flying around the internals. Anyway...it worked a treat in minutes.Vollständige Rezension lesen

I managed to get my CD player working. I think the solution was very helpful as I already had a cleaner disk and did not have any cleaning solution to do the job. a positive outcome.

Used it to clean a DVD type sat-nav (Honda), Kept getting "disk read error" due to dirt on lens. The player is 12 years old and this had happened before, being built in its almost impossible to clean. Used one of these disks in the past and after a few goes everything was sorted. Remember to prick the nozzle with a pin before squeezing the bottle, or it will "pop off" and all the fluid will come out in one go. After using allow a while for the fluid to evaporate inside the player before inserting a CD or DVD. Don't give up if it doesn't appear to have cleaned it the first time, wait a while and try again. Keep it somewhere you will be able to find it for next time...I didn't and had to buy this one a few years later.
