An excellent model in every respect, the mouldings are crisp with very little or no flash, the details both exterior and interior are very well defined making painting and assembly a very pleasant and rewarding experience.

Ok. So I bought this kit (having made the Revell B-17G version), as I wanted to make a replica of the USAAF Memorial "Sally-B" that can still be seen flying around airshows up and down the country. Why buy this kit? The Sally-B (whilst built as the G version) doesn't have the protruding panels with guns on each side of the nose, although it did retain the gun dome underneath it. I therefore made this purchase just to get the correct panels. The pros for this kit are that that there is good detail, the pieces fit nicely and it looks great if you get a nice clean finish on all the glass pieces. The 'not so good' issues I found with this particular kit are that (unlike the G release), there was more 'flash' bits to clean up, often on the more delicate parts. This is why I only gave it a 4 star rating. For the price paid (compared to other lits Vs. price), I found this to be very good value. One thing though (if you do decide to have a go at it), is to read the instructions for the engine/prop builds as these have been specifically designed to go where they say they should. In other words, all parts for the props look the same but have there own specific placement. I foolishly built all four parts with out taking note of this and found that I struggled to fit them properly.Vollständige Rezension lesen
