Again the B-52's have controlled their sexual fun, tension, extreme creativity, youth, hippie-ness, abstract, and excitement and put it in an album. My favorite Revolutin earth, the first half of the album, is more pumping, exciting, intense, the second half, meandering calming, silly and fun. The second half frolics, playfully, sometimes peacefully, the first half amps you up to have fun and do a job. Revolution earth, a wonderful, childlike story, sounding much like what a great REM song would be, Kate Pierson does a great job, this song produces images that are wonderful. The world's green laughter, what a cool song. Junebug, back to the south, tension, sexuality, energy, and fun. Hot pants, need I say anymore. I love to serenade my wife with verses, they're sung with attitude, and we laugh almost every time we hear this song. Vision of a kiss, Fred Schneider pleads, don't shatter the vision, if the wonderful image of a kiss. Kate and Fred may think they're gay, they're tension in the songs expresses their frustration in that, and the simple infatuation with love, kissing, and simple joy throughout the album, just shows the groups desire for simple, pure love. The album is a joy to listen to. Playful, exciting and youthful, creative, inviting, and beautiful. This CD is delight.Vollständige Rezension lesen
IT'S THE B-52'S IT'S PARTY TIME ALL CD LONG. Minus Cindy Wilson this is marginally less cosmic than its multi-platinum predecessor. Still, there's plenty of delicious absurdity ("Is That You Mo-Dean"), Seventies camp ("Hot Pants Explosion"), serious romance ("Revolution Earth") and a tune ("Good Stuff") that frankly celebrates the wild thing. Let's not be stingy: this is great stuff!!!

excellent music, depicting a time when music was going though so many changes. This record certainly represents a changing of the guard that paved the way for others such as The Cars. All in all, a good listen.
