My daughter who is 20 months has been a bad sleeper on and off but ended up stuck in a cycle of 4 to 5 am wake ups for be last six months plus. Since we started using this clock we have got this to a 6 to 6:30am wake up time. We made a big deal of the star and the sun characters (called Mr Star and Mr Sun obviously) and she loves it. Been such an easy thing to introduce into the routine and has made a big difference. All kids are different and we were sceptical of trying this out but it really has been amazing. Worth a shot for any parents struggling with sleep deprivation!

Bought this clock for my stepdaughter who’s 5 and it will also be used by the youngest too when she’s old enough. We found our 5year old had been getting up and out of bed too early and taking herself off downstairs to go on her tablet so we wanted something that she would help her understand that it’s too early to do this. The clock has helped massively, as she does understand that it’s still bedtime when the clock is BLUE and wake up time when the clock is YELLOW. Would highly recommend to anyone struggling with kids not staying in bed and trying to get up far too early

Our son (just turned 4) was waking almost every night and getting into our bed. He is now staying in his room almost every night until the sun comes up. It must be confusing in winter when mornings are dark and in summer when evenings are light and little ones can't tell the time, so this definitely helps define waking time and sleeping time. We love it and our son seems to love it too. He brings us into his room to see the sun every morning and waves hello to it!

In combination with a sticker chart the gro-clock (so far) seems really effective at keeping my daughter in her cot for longer in the mornings, she really enjoys telling mummy when the sun has come up!

Really pleased with this. Our guy was almost 3 years old and still getting up too early and then being tired all day. I think this age was just right for him to understand that if the star was still on, then it was too early to get out of bed and to go back to sleep. It took about 4 days but, touch wood, he's now sleeping until about 6-30 am which is great for us! He had been getting up at just after 5am which wasn't much fun :)

Trying to explain to a 4yr old it’s not morning at 4am really made it easy , when it turns yellow at 6.30 you can get out of bed ! Works great and nice glow to the room Incase of a toilet trip

Finally my toddler understand how night and day works. A bright yellow light with a sun indicates it is time to get up. The sun blinks goodnight before the big blue star displays. And the counting stars thing that indicates hours until the morning is excellent.

Already using this! My son enjoyed watching the stars disappear and sun come up to know it is morning time and that he can get up. Love the little story with it too.

The clock was a replacement for a previous one that had broken. Does the job perfectly. My granddaughter understands how it works and knows when it is 'getting up time'. The clock will be used for my grandson in future years. Comes with detailed instructions for use and the themed storybook is an added bonus.
