The video ipod is the next best thing from apple, ever. The video ipod is no more than the size of a slim digital camera, and it can play all the songs you can imagine! The video ipod is great, but it has some problems: PROS: Very Thin and Small For Something of its capabilities Works Well, Usually Comes With Award-winning iTunes Software Includes everthing you need right in the box Cons: Scratchs Easily,(put it in your pocket and it comes out scratched, even if there was nothing in your pocket. Headphones are awful so you will need to pay twenty bucks for another pair. Has random gliches that are annoying. Apple's customer service is awful and after 90 days you have to pay for your customer service. So, to conclude, if you are in the market for the video ipod, buy it! But take good care of it and treat it like your only child.Vollständige Rezension lesen
The fifth generation iPod classic does have great sound quality, better than any of my other devices. No wifi, Bluetooth, or touch screen, fortunately I don’t need any of those features. All you need to do is plug in a good set of headphones and enjoy the music.

Love the huge amount of music/videos it can hold. My only problems with it... Screen is very easily scratched, doesn't come with any kind of software for transferring dvd/video on it, and the battery doesn't last quite as long as they say(they claim up to 24 hours, I'd guess more like 20 and that is if you are just listening to music with the backlight off, significantly less if your watching videos, playing games, or flipping through the menus a lot) I'd definately reccomend it to anyone but be prepared to shell out $100+ on extra acccessories(skin, fm transmitter, video transfering software, etc) Also, unless your music library is huge, you ay want to go with the 30 GB version instead. It is smaller, lighter, cheaper, and can still hold a ton of stuff. So far I have only filled about 15 GB on mine.Vollständige Rezension lesen
This iPod is a little bigger than the 30gb cousin, so keep that in mind for portability. It makes up for that by holding 15,000 songs or 150 hours of video - unbelievable. I don't personally need the video functions since I don't commute on a train or plane, but I do like the fact that you can view photos. This thing is great on battery life (approx. 18 hours) and it is a bit thinner and lighter than the previous versions of the 60GB and 40GB 4th generations. If you watch video, don't plan on more than a few hours of battery since that really sucks the juice down fast. If you don't need video or photos, consider the 4th generation 40gb or 60gb iPod Photo - save yourself lots of cash and get a great iPod for music. Get a protective skin or case, these scratch easily. Overall this a great iPod for those who want nothing but the most your money can buy.Vollständige Rezension lesen
Besides what you can read for yourself on apple.com, I'll tell you what I have found. These are just raambling snippets of info that may spark your interests. With a little research on these topics, you'll be on your way to enjoying the magnificent iPod. I have dropped my iPod twice. Once in a train station in Canada on a granite floor. No Damage. Not a scratch. Not a problem. Simply amazing. Sunscreen will damage the plastic of the iPod. You would think they tested the plastic for tis since it is a must have item at the beach or pool. I have a permanent finger print on the face now. The 29.00 USD digital camera adapter by Apple is really, very cool. I take it with me on vacations to clean my memory stick when it's full. You just plug your camera directly into it by usb. It uses a good bit of iPod battery power and takes a bit more time than you'd expect, but it works well. You can upload the picture files from your iPod to your PC when you get home. Make sure your iTunes option is set to use the iPod as a harddrive when attached. I bought the Apple dock, but hardly ever use it. If I had to do it again, I wouldn't buy it. MUST HAVE! There are clingy, removeable clear screen protectors you can buy to protect the plastic face of your iPod. Buy them (they usually come in pairs). It will keep the screen from scratching. Made by Madkatz, ClearTouch, etc. Search "iPod Screen protectors" on Ebay. Every Tuesday, Apple updates their store with a free tune. It's usually excellent, but it's usually someone you've never heard of before. You don't have to own an iPod to use iTunes. Download it and reap the same benefits. You can subscribe to the free Podcasts of your choice in iTunes. These Podcasts are very entertaining. There are meny topics and areas of interest in iTunes. There are additional casts on the web. Again, You don't have to own an iPod to use iTunes. Download it and reap the same benefits. If you search the web, you can buy software that will rip your DVDs and digital home video to ipod format. I didn't think I'd ever use video on the iPod, but I use it more than the music feature at times. Google Video Beta will allow you to download most of their content for iPod. If it is an option for the video of your choice, it will be in the dropdown menu. Do your research before you buy a charger. The iPod video only come with a usb cable for charging via the powered usb on your pc. Apple's wall charger uses the usb cable and costs 30.00 USD. Look at other choices like Belkin. For the same money, you get more. Buy the Apple in-ear bud style headphones. Also buy Shure E2c foam sleeves. Take off the grey rubber Apple tips and put the Shure's on. The sound quality is the best you'll find for the price. You get a better seal in the ear canal. I have a $300 set of Denon audiophile can style headphone with 40mm drivers. The Apples sound as good. For noise isolation and improved bass, this trick is for you. I had to set my iPod EQ to reduce bass to balance the new level. It's great now. Unless DLo made improvements to the transpod for your auto avoid it. It has poor sound quality and low level output. I usually listen to my audio in the car on level 18. With the DLo I have to increase the volume to 35+ for the same output. At that level, background noise is amplified during quiet passages. It is an excellent charger, all downfalls aside. I hope you like the review!!Vollständige Rezension lesen
