Yes it has giant mechs in it and yes there is giant mech battles, but surprisingly they are not the main stay attractions: the characters take the forefront this time around. Once you get past the whole "robots surfing in the sky" wonder bit the show takes pains to make it clear that the stars are its characters and not the robot battles. Renton is your typical 13 year old protagonist who starts off really annoying but grows into a better and more mature person through the many obstacles he faces on his journey. Eureka herself is basically emotionless until she met Renton and she grew out of her archetype as the badass/emotionless robot into a young woman like everyone else. Its obvious with my previous statements that the shows main attractions is the cast's journey of growing up, each with their set of problems and emotional baggage to overcome. If you want bombastic mind blowing mech battles in every episode than you will be disappointed, I would try some Gundam show or Gurren Lagann not this one. If you wanted more out of your typical cast of characters in a mech show, than look no further! Vollständige Rezension lesen
