    I am revising this feedback as the seller explained that EBay doesn’t have a FAIR rating for books. The seller did accurately describe the book but I was comparing the ratings to those purchased on other sites. The seller prepared and delivered the product in a timely manner according to EBay’s policies. The seller should not be penalized by me.

    I was extremely pleased with my book from Texas Book Consignments. It looks brand new, although not advertised as new. Extra care was taken in packaging so that it would not get damaged by placing a piece of cardboard inside package for support. I have never seen that before with other sellers. It arrived in a timely manner. Overall, very, very pleased with this company.

    Not just A Model Book

    The title of this book is a little misleading. While the book does cover some model construction, what it really deals with are details, from deck fittings to rigging details. There are hundreds of drawings within its pages that cover many aspects of fitting out a ship. This is where its real value lies. As a modeler's guide, it falls short. As a reference, it excels.

    An excellent ship modelling book covering all aspects of planning and building model sailing ships.

    One of several excellent books on ship model building that are essential to learn the art of ship model building. Is describes the features, parts and rigging of sailing ships across several centuries with lots of illustrations. This lets you see variations across time and by country. Actual ship building with timbers is also discussed as well as modelling techniques.
