Great show!! One of the best !!
I bought this season 3 Dallas dvd set because Netflix did not have season 3 available and Blockbuster had a long wait of more than a month. I had already watched season 1 & 2 on netflix. I checked for the best deal on season 3, and this ebay purchase was the best deal. I love this show, and since watching the new Dallas I decided to go back and watch the original. Now I see on netflix that they have added more seasons to unavailable. If they are not available when I get to those seasons, then I know to look back on ebay. Season 3 is the season which ends with J.R. getting shot, the start of the season ending cliffhangers, the biggest cliffhanger ever. Dallas made famous for their cliffhangers. I had forgotten that this show was so good and the old series had 14 seasons. That is a lot ... I do not watch many new shows because I have started watching a new show and then it gets cancelled.(Firefly, Terra Nova,...) I was saddened by the news of Larry Hagman's death, but I can still watch him on dvd. He had filmed several episodes for the new Dallas series so we will be able to watch his last acting of his life. I read that Larry Hagman loved playing J.R., and he worked until he went in the hospital. He was really an excellent actor and this is an awesome dvd set.

BEST EVER
I used to watch Dallas when I was 10. I could not really understand the story line back then. I am now 48 and I have lived my own soap opera. I am so glad that this is available. The original Dallas can never be replaced..

This is a great series (except for the old format of 480p that can't be helped) and we are getting closer to "Who Shot J.R." The package came and we were excited to get into it. A while ago I told my wife that this was hands down the best and most popular (maily because it was prime time) Soap Opera ever. We watched the new Dallas and then when I began getting these and told her she did not really believe me. As far as we have gotten now, I think she is hooked and totally believes me. We are having a ball. I do sometimes get sick of Dallas after Dallas after Dallas and need to take a break now and agian but so thankful we are able to get this background informatio from the original.This is a great series (except for the old format of 480p that can't be helped) and we are getting closer to "Who Shot J.R." The third season of Dallas is fantastic! Season 3 is so much fun! Larry Hagman continues making big deals and a lot of drama as the powerful Texas oil-man, J.R. Ewing! ..Dallas soars!
