Not the best Wii game...
OK...this game is suppose to have the underlying ability to halt childrens' fear of the dark, it does not really work that way. At least not in my home. It is a rather basic game, which is reflected in the price. One goes through the land of darkness in Pajama Sam closet, finds socks and other items needed to defeat "Darkness". The game consists of a trail that has three branches to follow. I have never completed a video game in my life, but I completed this game. I guess it is only fair to relay that I am 45 years of age and not really one for video games. My 7 year old enjoys it and plays it. I have paid much more for games that he simply will not play, so we are happy. This is the type of item that if you purchase for a young child they would most likely like it, but if you did not he ... Good game, wii unnecessarily speeds it up
Good game. 🎮 Though the wii version speeds up the cut scenes and voice lines. Kinda makes it too fast.

Older Computer Game Now for the Wii!
I bought this game because we used to have these Pajama Sam games for the computer about 10 years ago and really loved them. I was a little disappointed to see that this is the same exact game as No Need to Hide When it's Dark Outside under a different title. The game itself is great for very young children because the characters talk and there isn't much (if any) reading involved. It's also great for children that are a little older because it's just challenging enough to keep their attention. Cute game - it is a one play and win type tho
My pre-K son loved Freddy Fish so I knew he would enjoy this. It is a one player game. He really enjoyed playing it but was able to solve in in one evening (with 8 y.o. sister also giving him "ideas" along the way.) I think if you can get it for about $10 it is worth it for an afternoon or evening of fun.

Pajama Sam: Don't Fear the Dark
GREAT GAME !!!!! My children played this game on the computer for the first time , so when I saw this on Wii I had to have it for my niece.The charaters are very interesting, and keep the intrest of the children. It takes place at night and thing that scare children are made funy, not so scary. It blends education and play very well. I love this game.
