Product Information

Tiger Woods and the PGA Tour continue their exclusive relationship with EA SPORTS for a sixth game in the best-selling professional golf series. Nineteen courses are available in this version, ten of which are based on authentic venues in Pebble Beach, Sawgrass, the Royal Birkdale Golf Club, Princeville, Torrey Pines, Poppy Hills, Spyglass Hill, St. Andrews, and other official locales. Players will be able to compete as or against 20 PGA Tour athletes, including the additions of John Daly and Adam Scott to go along with Ty Tryon, Charles Howell III, Notah Begay III, Vijay Singh, Jesper Parnevik, Jim Furyk, and more.<br><br>In addition to the pros, players can select one of 12 returning characters from Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2003 or, for the first time in the series, create their own golfer. Players can select head shape, eye color, body type, skin tone, and other physical attributes, and they'll be able to unlock additional clothing and accessories for their golfer by performing well. The game once again employs the Total Precision Swing system for analog club movement, but Bill Macatee has been replaced with Gary McCord for commentary duties along with David Feherty. Top performances during a round can earn players Trophy Balls for achieving certain milestones in drives, chip-ins, and putts.<br><br>New to this version of the game is the PGA Tour Season Mode, where golfers can embark on a 52-week schedule for up to ten consecutive seasons. Throughout their career, players can earn corporate sponsorships from actual equipment manufacturers and try to earn more money than the great Tiger Woods. The Xbox internal clock is used to offer players tournaments corresponding to their real-life counterparts. Other new ways to play include the World Tour; where players can unlock golfers, earn money, and win equipment while traveling to different destinations across the globe; and variants such as Long Drive Shootout, Best Ball, Stableford scoring, and Battle Golf, among others.

    "BEST"Video Golf Game Past or Present

    Fantastic flexability!Ease of use.Doesn't require loads of memory like 07 or 08 Versions,which I own and are so slow from 1 shot to the next setting up.Has almost same features as newer versions.As you progress you can take beginner lessons to expert ones perfecting tricky shots.In career mode every time you play a practice round you constantly are offered challenges by differant pros.Skills competitions,driving,putting,chipping,flops,sand,rough,obsticles,every lie immaginable.you can choose conditions for play,wind,rough,weather.The 3 hole demo sold me on it.David Flaherty is ABSOLUTELY ANNOYING.Almost every shot he say's "Ah,a Bit Quick on the DownSwing",amoung a halfdozen other comments I could do with out,and 9.9 out of 10 the you shots you make are good to great.

    BEST GOLF GAME and South Park surprise!

    This game made me love golf! I advise doing the scenarios, not using your golfer, but using Tiger! Do no t use the play it now feature. This will give you your made up WEAKER character. When you want to do the real time events, then here is a trick! Set the clock on your console on any day theat you want! This way you have all the time in the world to complete a real time event! There are so many goals to accomplish that you will be playing this for months!! This is the best game out there! Complete the scenarios and the first round of the World tour first! Max out your power first! You will need this for the world tour! You do not have to get gold on all of the scenarios!! The BIG SECRET!!     Tiger Woods FUUUNNNNN

    This is a smooth running and very excellent game for people who like games that require mostly brain power rather than finger speed. It is very much like real golf....club selection, power, aiming, wind speeds. And the graphics are great in it. For a game made in 2003, it is really , really well worth every dime I spent on it. On ebay for around 20.00!!!! By the way, if you have trouble selecting clubs and power on the real course, this will "teach" you the right way! I have already shaved 6 strokes off my game merely by learning proper club selection. I'm not going PRO, but I fee more confident now.

    Amazing quality

    Guy said some scratches on disc. Got the game and there is NO scratches at all. Def impressed!!

    GReat golf game

    To give this game a low rating becuse of your computer is just LAME!!! This is an excellent game. It is very accurate and keeps you interested "building" your player. I have played many golf games and this is the best I have ever played. If this one ever starts getting old I will buy the newest version.
